We were a group of five coming for dinner on Reykjavík Cultural night. A very busy night for restaurants and bars downtown Reykjavík. All of us were happy with our meals, deserts and wines. Service was very nice, both in terms of politeness and good...sense of humor.More

After a full-day sightseeing tour in the wind and rain, we were too exhausted to keep our 8 p.m. dinner reservations at a highly rated restaurant, so we ordered take out pizzas and a salad from here. Since it’s right next door to our hotel...(Sand), it was convenient, and the menu looked appealing. Our order was ready in just 10 minutes, and after we returned to our room and opened the boxes, we understood why. Very little care had been put into the pizzas or salad. They looked unappealing and had very little flavour. My pizza (Parma ham, rocket, Parmesan cheese) was the blandest I’ve ever had. There was no sauce, so it was terribly dry, and the Parmesan was the powdered variety that comes from a can, like Kraft brand. The salad was even worse: arugula, some cherry tomatoes, canned Parmesan, and a trace of an indiscernible dressing that was definitely not the balsamic advertised. The meal had all the appeal of a shopping mall food court offering, but at quadruple the price: an absurd 107,000 Kronos. Avoid this tourist trap.More

The wait wasn't very long. People kept moving in and out. We were attracted to this place because they had glutenfree pizza and pasta.

My kids ages 12 and 14 didn't want to sample the local cuisine that much. This was a nice place with good service. We ate there twice. Portions aren't huge and it's pricey because it's Iceland. We would return.

Big party of 10 but they found space for us. Friendly staff and quick service. Good food, but portions too small. Pizzas are like lunch size pizzas and not the thing if you are hungry at night. They should offer tiny and normal size. Pasta...likewise.More

We had a lovely meal and excellent service. We both had the lasagne. It's huge and easily shareable.

Pretty small pizza for large price. The pizza is not bad, thin crust, comes out fast. But the size of the pizza can only feed 2 max, maybe only one person, it’s ok, nothing special, and pricey. Nothing to write home about

I went here with my husband and three children. The people were friendly and the staff attentive. We read the reviews and were excited for the lasagna. Two of the five of us had the lasagna and no one liked it. I do not know...what type of meat is in the meat sauce, but we all thought maybe lamb? The best meal was the ravioli. The pizza was good, but not great, although the wood oven cooked crust was very tasty. I don’t think we’d come back, but it is an alternative to the other more common menus. Tip… if it says meat/ meat sauce ask for clarification to get a better idea of what you are getting.More

Really good and authentic Italian food. Service was good all the way although nothing special. Best lasagna I have had and I am picky. Prices are high but that is true everywhere. House wine was dissapointing but did not expect more. Still all in all,...good experienceMore

We were so tired of lamb, Arctic Char and cod after 10 days in Iceland that we were craving something else. This is a great Italian Restaurant on the walking mall and not far from old town or uptown. Everything in Iceland is expensive but...they are very reasonably priced. They have a great menu and nice wine list. We ate there twice and enjoyed it both nights.More

Super happy with so many GF options. Pasta, pizza, soup, beer. We’ve been looking for easy to accommodate GF food in Reykjavik and it’s been hit or miss. This was a huge success.
