We visit Reykjavik often and never miss a chance (or two, or three) to eat these. So glad they opened locations in the 10-11 and also now at the airport! Have one for me if you’re nearby!

Delicious! Must add to your Iceland food tastings. Regretting I didn’t get more :) Recommend getting one with everything on it. The dog itself is made up of pork and lamb. So good!

When in Reykjavik… You just have to get some hot dogs, and these are some of the best!! I love the crispy onions, and their sauces are delicious! One is just not enough!

Yum ditty Yum Yum Yum We loved this lamb hot dog so much we went back 2 more times during our stay in Reykjavik. I like it with all the fixin's and those crispy onions are the cherry on top! My husband preferred it w.o...the raw onions. These are dawgs that dreams are made of! Worth the hype and we had little to no wait!! RUN!More

This is the real deal. The line moves quickly. The ingredients can be picked up at local Reykjavik grocery stores. Have to try at least one.

Huge queue even though the employees were working as quickly as they could. Hotdogs are small and quite tasteless. The mayo is very sweet as is the ketchup. Such a shame.

I don’t like hot dogs and yet I went back and got another one because it was so good. Make sure you get one with everything! The flavors are mixed perfectly and there’s a delightful crunch with each bite.

Wasn't sure what the fuss was about, but having read about the experience in the DK guide book, thought would give it a try. Not kidding when they say there will be a queue for this traditional hot dog. We waiting patiently in line for...35 mins, would never do this back in UK. However it was tasty, different, not over facing and when in Reykjavik why not.More

All the reviews I've read said I had to try an Icelandic hot dog and my sis agreed. She was in Iceland in 2016 and reminded me to have a hot dog so I did. And boy, am I glad I did! It was inexpensive,...quick, and absolutely delicious! The first bite was the best, you can hear your teeth snap the skin of the dog. I got mine with ketchup and fresh onions which really hit the spot. Would have loved more onions! There was always a small line waiting to be served, no matter the time or weather. Get in line and try it for yourself!More

Am I missing something? I was told by an American family this was the best hotdog they'd ever had, from an actual American. This was near on the most overrated hotdog I've ever had. I've had plenty of hotdogs over the years and this was...the most overrated I've EVER eaten. Just a couple of months back I've eaten infinitely better hotdogs at Sheffield Xmas market! This is bland rubbish you can buy from a supermarket and top yourself. I can't stress enough, give this place a piss unless you're hammered.More

I never knew Iceland was famous for these hot dogs, but I'm so glad I got to try them! I am not a fan of American hot dogs but these were something else, with a slightly smoky taste. Service was so quick and the hot...dogs were fresh, we even went back for a second round!More

Yummy! Price is reasonable. Have to wait for a while. I waited for about 15 mins when there were about 10-20 people ahead of me. Worth the wait.

This is not an ordinary hot dog stand but a globally recognized icon. The hot dogs are very tasty with a skin that "snaps." When in Reykjavik, be sure to stop in, get in the line, and order your dog.

Definitely worth trying. Tasty no issues and it is the Icelandic experience. We didn't go back for more but it is definitely a thing to do in Iceland.

Not your Momma's hot dog! Definitely differnt for an American Southerner and a vey good taste. Worth the standing in line with the locals and other tourists.

Sorry for the late notice. I don't think the distance is conducive for walking unless you enjoy walking a few miles/km. When we took the bus tour of the city the cruise terminal was east of Harpa Concert Hall about 4+km... More
