We ordered hot chocolate and cappuccino both tasted bad and salty. Takes very long time to get a service. Seems like Waitresses were not enjoying doing their job and not friendly. Also very expensive

I have returned here many times. Warm atmosphere, good coffee and nice pastries. Open early on Sundays too. Tuck in from the bad weather. Reading and lingering is fine. Giant cinnamon buns.

We called in here twice whilst walking around the city centre. Very nice coffee & the hot chocolate with chilli was very good. Very nice staff.

This is a trendy coffee shop, but the service is incredibly slow and not friendly - and the beverages and food as as overpriced as ever in Iceland. I don’t recommend it. Coffee was very bitter and the cup size was tiny, both for my...More

Awaken and go for a walk. Follow the scent of coffee. At Kaffitar you can have it your way; Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, Mochaccino, Flat White or whatever. Add artisan breads (bagels are good), or something sweet (pastries and cakes). When you start to feel fully...More

So lucky to be in Reykjavik in December! So much celebration and beautiful light. After experiencing the Christmas concert on the green near the Cafe Paris, we stopped into Kaffitar for coffee - and a Swiss Latte, with biscotti. The coffee was delicious, and the...More
