The drip coffee is really good. The atmosphere and surroundings are comfortable. There are a lot of people passing through but it's a great spot to sit and get out of the rain and watch the world go by

First visited in 2018 and happy to return in 2021. Quality coffee shop that serves traditional espresso drinks as well as iced coffees, flavored syrups, alternative "milks." Friendly and accommodating staff.

Located on a vibrant street in Reykjavík, Kaffitar was a well sized, relaxed, coffee shop offering drink in or take away coffee and food. The coffee was good and service nice and quick.

Wonderful atmosphere and wonderful people! They accidentally forgot my toast this morning (no big deal) and as soon as I mentioned it, they got it to me right away. They even gave me a free coffee next time I came. Great service and such kind...workers!More

I have been going to this place for coffee for at least 2 years. Always perfect good coffee and staff. Last months its been going down and down till the point i think its the worst coffee in Reykjavik. They have change continuosly the staff...and they are not being trained i think because its horrible. The coffee the teas everything. Im so sorry for that place and i think it will close soon due to the lack of compromise.More

We accidentally found the Kaffitar during our early morning walk through the centre of Reykjavik and we got a very good cappuccino double shot, which was just a bit more expensive than single shot. We also tried their cinnamon rolls, which were delicious! If sunny,...one can sit outside and feel the city. We were lucky, we had sun and empty streets - even the COVID pandemic has some bright sides ;-)More

Good coffee and croissants (deliciouuus!). The staff is always nice, even if it is early morning. They are always smiling, especially one girl that's at the store downtown. Cozy place to sit or to have take away!

Robust flavor dark roasted or mild either choice is satisfying. Rich and flavorful with every cup. Wish it was available in the US.

The smell from outside of Coffee enticed us inside! We enjoyed a leisurely stop off here for a Latte and Lactose free hot chocolate. Both were delicious. If you would like a good quality coffee and a warm place to rest, here it is.
