After walking around the harbor area searching for a place to eat, rather difficult having in mind that we already had fish & chips, burgers and most restaurants had the cuisine already closed we decided to give this one a chance, and it was wright on spot. The food was very good and the beer also, Portugal won the quarter... More

My wife and I were seated very promptly and the waitress took our order right away. We waited for our 2 beers for probably 20 minutes and then again for our meal for another maybe 25. I had ordered mushroom soup and when the waitress brought it over, told me it was asparagus soup instead, 'hope that's okay'!. Food was... More

I went to Grillhusid yesterday. After I got my meal I noticed that the glasses were really dirty. Then my hamburger was completely raw. (See pictures!) The bacon was disgusting and didn't smell like bacon at all. When I spoke to the waiter he was rude. Told me that the glasses are supposed to be like this. He refused to... More

We stopped here attracted by the affordable prices compared to other restaurants that looked extremely too expensive for our pockets. We had the mozzarella sticks for starters then for main course we had che chicken and lamb skewers. Both beautifully cooked and so tasty. Amazing sweet potatoes chips and the jacket potatoes was also very good. It was quick, tasty... More

My friend and I stopped in here for dinner because they had reasonably priced food (hard to come by in Reykjavik) and because they had fish and chips on the menu (one of my favorite meals), Grillhusid feels like a diner. It has lots of circa 1950;s era memorabilia, particularly of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. It... More

Simple, comfort foods are offered at this restaurants. We each had different hamburgers....yes, they were all fresh made patties, juicy and delicious! Fabulous & efficient service.

This is a nice restaurant, not very fancy but cosy. We ate here blue ling, a fish that was well prepared and delicious. The service was good and the waitress sweet

Went with my family, we got burgers and a sandwich. Every thing was okey, the service as well. So if you want a "okey" burger this is the place.

This was our 3rd meal in Reykjevik and having eaten seafood previously red meat was the order of the day. We hadn't planned to eat here but walking past I was drawn in by a picture of a steak in the window. The service was ok, beer and atmosphere good but the food was very average. My mtw done steak... Coming from the UK we found the prices in Iceland very expensive - we were impressed with the quality of this place for the price - for example - we had a shared started, 2 mains, shared dessert and a jug of beer (approx. 4 beers) and it cost approx. £55 - the fish of the day was beautiful -...
