Found Harry's whilst looking for somewhere to eat. No tables available for our group of six. So they rearranged two tables together to accommodate us. Food excellent staff friendly ambience relaxing. Plenty of choices on the menu for people without dietary needs. Myself, I don't eat potatoes, bread or spicy food so my choice was very limited. Had a starter... More

I have assumed that the Harry's next to the Fosshotel Rudara is in fact, this one moved to a new locations; so I was told in the hotel. The weather in Reykjavik was terrible so we went to this restaurant that was right next door to the hotel we were staying at. We went twice and really enjoyed our meals... More

The menu looked fine but the restaurant didn't look much from outside, but hubby wanted fish and chips so we went. To our surprise this turned into an excellent meal served by very friendly staff. The lobster bisque was described by our friend as the best he's ever had and the prawn tempura was delicious! We all had different main... More

Harry's doesn't look like much when you spot the window from the street but we we very interested in a delicious seafood meal and Harry's really delivered. Efficient and friendly service and perfect portion sizes made for a memorable meal. This is the one restaurant I most wanted to visit again if I had more days.

We were n Iceland in October. It was cold, windy, and pouring rain. We were staying at the Hotel Alda just down the street so we popped in here for a meal. As mentioned, the decor was pretty sparse, but the food was delicious. We started with cheesy garlic bread and spring rolls, Nd then had lamb, salmon, and a... More

Was looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy some lamb that wasn't too expensive in Reykjavik (tougher than I thought it would be) and this place was excellent! Nice and tender, very flavourful and the seasoning was perfect!

Enjoyed an excellent meal of grilled langostine at a good price. Beautiful presentation and delicious flavor. Visited a second time for another bowl of langostine bisque. Dessert good as well. Lovely staff.

I can not complain at the quality of the food. that was very good. My husband had lax and it was so good it melted almost. But there is one thing people should be aware of. We are very allergic to seafood and fish. On the menu they say tell the chief if you have an allergie which we did.... More

One of the best fish'n'chips I've had. Warm welcoming service, staff wanted to have a chat even though there was a thin language barrier.
