I'm not sure what was better... the food or the presentation!! While the menu appears to be limited upon first glance, the combination of foods per dish is astounding. Kudos to the chef! The blending of flavors made even the most skeptical foodie from NYC...More

We liked this restaurant, The Fish Company in English, so much we ate there on our first and last nights of a week in Iceland. The seafood was delicious, the setting attractive and the service attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable dining, but it's very popular so reservatikons...More

The menu primarily features various fish in a variety of preparations each with a leaning toward different countries. There are only a couple of dishes that are other than fish. The sushi was very good with the salmon being extremely fresh. The Arctic char dinner...More

I would prefer to give this restaurant a 7 on a scale of 5. Our meal there was one of the best meals I have ever had. The service was spot on, the menu diverse (have the fish), and the food perfectly prepared. It was...More

My husband and me went there for our wedding anniversary. I had lunch there before on several occasions (most of the time "fish of the day"), always very satisfying. Now we went for a dinner (starters, main and desert with white/red vine and cocktails). I...More

In central Reykjavik. In the six year old basement of a building whose foundation was made to perch on top a 19th century house (moved there from another location) and which houses shops. The Fish Company is in the basement, but the decor is great,...More

We were recommended by an Icelandic friend and were not disappointed. A really exciting menu, expensive but excellent. The dessert was outstanding. As with all good restaurants in Reykavik book ahead. Highly recommend

This was my fifth visit to this restaurant and although I hadn't been there in four years, I was very happy to experience that kitchen and staff are still on top of things. As always we took the 'Around the world' menu and again it...More

This is seven months late, but for those wondering, 1) Yes, they have a children's menu 2) We were seated next to a well-behaved 4 or 5 year-old at dinner time - no issues whatsoever.
