Went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with no booking and was extremely lucky to get a table as it seems to be a popular place. We shared sushi to start which tasted and looked beautiful. While I am not a huge sushi fan,...More

I had the Iceland tasting menu. Cod was excellent along with complementary serving of bread and various butters. As for the main courses, I was left thinking I've overpaid. The gravlox was unremarkable and heavily topped with a mustard infused mayo. The entree was a...More

We had a starter, main and dessert. They were all very tasty. But to be honest, I like simple grilled or pan fried fish, this restaurant is like a French restaurant, all fish come with fancy sauce. We paid £100 between us without any drink as...More

Booked well ahead then added new found friends at the last minute, which they accommodated. We all ordered the tasting menu and matching wine flight. Every course was typical Icelandic fare with, as expected, a leaning towards fish dish (although the main course was actually...More

All of the dishes here are traditionally Icelandic, and very tasty. Make sure you have a reservation regardless of night of the week or time of year. Also, don't fall for the "cookbook sale". While it's a nice book, it's very expensive and probably not...More

We went here for dinner on our first night in Reykjavík. The food was amazing! I had the avocado and goats cheese for starter whilst my husband had the langoustines and squid. He also got the minke whale to try. All of the starters were...More

Fantastic restaurant where the emphasis is on fish and international fusion cuisine. Exceptional presentation and service. This really is a top end choice. I had the 'Icelandic' for main and it was one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten - three types...More
