Nice Restaurant, good service and good food. I have enjoyed lots of Indian and Pakistani food in the past, never had Nepalese before but found the foods similar so based on this, I thought the food was quite average. Our order consisted of 2 curries, 1 nan bread, 1 rice, 1 beer and 1 coke. £78. I know brexit hurt... More

We had dinner, twice here. Nice & cosy restaurant. It was expensive, but this is Iceland, everything is expensive in Iceland! The staff were excellent. They cook their dishes with honey. I have never tried biryani with honey...and it was beautiful. Sweet but still spicy. Loved it! The naan was soft and tasty.

We went here for my birthday dinner while in Iceland. It was a quaint little place with good service and a friendly atmosphere. We love this type of food and we're happy with what we ordered. For me, I could have had it spicier! The only detraction to my experience (I know , people will judge me) was , that... More

While I will hold back from a full 5-star for this place given that--like nearly everything in Reykjavik--it's rather expensive, and given that I was starved for something other than Icelandic food, Nepalese Kitchen was a delicious meal both times that we went. The staff is very welcoming and the owner very friendly and happy to talk about his recipes,... More

Although it is open late, and has seating upstairs, the relative blandness of the food doesn't make up for the convenience. My husband and I had a vegetable curry dish that didn't have any spice in it, and was pretty salty. The naan was dry and the rice didn't have any flavor. It was a warm meal when we needed... More

Gluten free and dairy free options. Staff is very knowledgeable about allergies. Including nuts. Almost all the menu is gluten. They can easily adapt the menu in light of your allergies. Plus, it's delicious and super tasty. The owner is nice and knows English :)

The taste of the meals was terrific, but there was hardly any meat in our curry dishes. We were still hungry when we left, and it was not a cheap meal. Service was very nice, but couldn't make up for our rumbly tummies...

Nice place, family owned. Clean, inviting, great service. All food is made from scratch, and we waited for 25 min to start eating, but it was totally worth waiting! The food was delicious. They also can customize your food if you eat gluten free, or if you are diabetic. You can tell that they take good care of their customers.... More

First, let me preface the review with the fact that I am Indian, so I tend to be pretty discerning when it comes to Indian food. Second, I have traveled and dined in many metropolitan and not-so-metropolitan cities from Tokyo to London to NYC and many in between, which would suggest that I, along with my family, have become accustomed...
