We ate here last night, we got a table without booking but it was quite late. The food was really delicious and different to Nepalese we have tried before, for example the biriyani was quite moist, whereas I've only had the drier version. However, that did not detract in any way from the quality or taste. We had three dishes... More

We had booked 2 days before Xmas eve- told to come at 9PM - , soon realised something seriously wrong as most tables were unfed and complaining. We waited with a bottle of water 2.5 hours, 3 times asking for menu. We were forced to choose food to suit kitchen, food was dreadful and inedible - as compensation they deleted... More

Went there solo, didn't know what to expect. The service was swift and friendly. The food was great, had the Nepalese Thali, an assortment of small portioned meals as main course, ordered medium spicy, that wasn't very spicy, will probably order hot next. Moderately priced, 5.000 ISK for the main course. I will surely go there again.

We ate at this little gem of a place twice during our week stay in Rekjavik. The food was authentic with a delicate blend of spices. The owner, Deepak, was extremely friendly and was quick to take care of all of our needs. The vegetarians in our family found it difficult to find good places in Iceland to accomodate them,... More

The waitress was very helpful accommodating a fussy vegan, the food arrived quickly and it was the best korma and Nepalese rice I ever tasted! The only criticism was a 'poppadom' is half a poppadom (1 cut in half) so you order 4 and actually get 2. The price was extortionate (£70 for 2 meals and 4 (aka 2 poppadoms)... More

We decided to go here for our Christmas meal - as almost everywhere else in Reykjavik was shut. We reserved two days in advance, and were told we'd be fine to turn up at 9pm as things would have calmed down by then. We arrived, and got our table, only to then wait over TWO hours for our food to... More

This is the closest thing to Fawlty Towers without the comedy I have ever seen. We were seated and all around people were complaining about slow service, we were in no rush so I wasn't bothered, both fire and smoke alarms were going off, when we finally ordered, after 20 minutes, there were no starters at all, at this point... My wife and I rocked up and managed to get the only table spare at the time. 5 minutes later, people were queuing out the door! This was around 9pm on New Years Eve. The atmosphere was good, although the young icelandic waiter was on his first day and a little stressed. So was the waitress, but the owner seemed... More

We had read good reviews about this restaurant and decided to try it since it's located right on Laugavegur Street. The service was awful, the food had no taste, and the portions were miniscule. The worst part, however, was the price. Chicken curry was 3.350. I knew this ahead of time since I had perused the menu before making a... More
