I got the three course mean for 7900 Krona ($65). Started with best beef carpaccio ever. Then steak. The steak is 10 day aged with delicious flavor. I’m from America and have friends in Texas so the steak was 8/10 but the small potatoes, picked...onion and portobello mushroom were excellent. And the accompanying sauces some of the best. Ended with the home made dessert (so good). Service was a little slow but knowledgeable and helpful. I got the house wine which was recommended by server. Nice recommend. There’s a nice coat rack to hang your stuff in and the bathrooms downstairs very posh. I know this is random but the table was a super sturdy wood table for a two top. I hate it when tables wobble, no chance of that w table we hadMore

Ordered the lobster soup of their lunch menu and ordered a beer. They had one mediocre beer on tap, which was disappointing. The soup was served so you could see the amount of lobster you got. Four small pieces the size of a dime. The...waiter then spilled the soup, which was a portion too small for my cat, over the “lobster”, it was very mediocre. So poor beer, minuscule amount of lobster and poor service. All in all a bad experience, would not recommend.More

My family and I went to this gorgeous restaurant on my brother's birthday. We had the Christmas course and every single thing blew my mind. Everything here is so unique! I would recommend this place to any meat lover. (They also have vegetarian options, which...I can not vouch for.) I rate my visit 5 stars.More

Decided to try this restaurant, had heard so many good reviews. And it was great, due to COVID we got takeaway and everyone was happy. Hef heyrt svo mikið gott um Reykjavík Meat og varð ekki fyrir vonbrigðum. Vegna covid var ákveðið að notfæra sér...“takeaway” mjög góður matur og pottþétt að þangað verður farið aftur. Takk fyrir okkur.More

We arrive much earlier and we were welcomed with banter which we were off to a lovely start. Food was amazing. My boyfriend said “it was top class food” as well the atmosphere but the service could get better for example we noticed that there...was only one waiter basically serving everyone. Maybe someone called in sick the last moment or they weren’t expecting it to be that busy but it would have been 5 star if there were more waiters working.More

Went out for a birthday/family dinner, the food was great, and the service was so nice, the kids loved their food also.

Very poor service, the waiter was very distant and obviously had very little interest in being in the area. When the food was finally served on the table, it came in multiple doses, since all the guests at the table didn’t receive their food at...the same time, but two of us had to wait 10 minutes longer for their food. When the last dishes came to the table then we had to wait even longer for the side dishes that should come with the food. When we spoke with the reception about the service it was like a one way street, no interest at all and honestly he didn’t care at all and just looked away. Maybe we would understand this slow service if the restaurant was very busy but it wasn’t! I doubt that I will ever step my foot in this place again.More

As we come in, we walked out, the attitude from reception and the vibe made us uncomfortable, we did eat there before and was so so but now it's the lowest of the lowest. Make sure you listen to customers. We won't be recommending this...place to anyone.More

Great 3 course set menu. Welcoming staff, had a very enjoyable meal here. A bit pricey, but great quality for a fine dining experience. Most comfortable chairs ever!
