Great place for a no muss, no fuss meal of soup in a bread bowl. We went for dinner and it was simple...they had two soups to choose from, both in a bread bowl...and a special if you got a soup and a beer. I...had the potato leek soup. Was very tasty. The rest of my part had the meat soup and really enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend this cozy place if you are a soup person like I am.More

Great soup. You've got few choices, but that just means that they make it really well. The bowl itself is a bit difficult to eat without looking like an animal, but everything was really tasty and the staff is really kind

Bread bowl soup is incredible. The best bread I've ever tasted and the soup was delicious. Perfect to warm up and have a hearty meal. There are two soup options, one veggie. The food comes super quickly. Staff were really friendly.

I would prefer more meat in the meat soup. There were just tiny pieces, so the flavour was not meaty at all. Me and my partner order a soup each, which didn't fill us up much. The portion was kind of small. We also ordered...a glass of Rose wine each, which was the same price as the soup, so kind of expensive. This place would be ok for a quick lunch stop, but not a proper dinner. Also, would be good to offer some starters or side dishes, instead of only soup and that's it.More

The guide book I have recommended here, what a great recommendation, we had mushroom soup and Italian mixed meat soup, both were delicious and the bread is super fresh and crusty.

The best soup I’ve ever tasted. I had the meat soup and honestly, it was amazing. I need the recipe because I could eat it again and again.

Massive soup in a giant bread. I had the Icelandic meat soup and my partner had the veg, it is a bit pricey at £13 for a bowl but why not indulge when youre away on holiday. I demolished the lot..bread and all and would...have finished hers off all well but i was stuffed. It did help it was served by 'Wonder woman' as well lol.More

We were staying on the same street and decided to give this restaurant a try, we were not disappointed. My partner had the leak and potato soup and I had the meat soup and both were extremely nice and reasonably priced for a hearty meal....Would recommend to everyone!More

Went here to have their infamous soup in a bread bowl. Meat or no-meat. That is the only question. Excellent bread bowl filled with excellent soup. Lamb and vegetable stew for my husband. Slightly creamy broccoli soup for me. Nice ambiance. Made our stroll down...the overly touristy Laugavegur worth the time and effort.More

I am not sure. The bread bowls are rye bread bowls. That is for certain.
