Stayed at the hotel had breakfast here a few times, it’s breakfast nothing spectacular the omelettes are kind of bland. Everything else is so so sometimes if you get down early in the morning the staff isn’t prepared for breakfast because you might have to...wait five or 10 minutes before they will take your order for eggs. That’s five or 10 minutes when there’s nobody else in the restaurant there were a total of six of us in the restaurant. Got here during the pandemic so there’s not that many people around so I thought service would be a little quicker. Hadn’t had anything except for breakfast which was so so, I thought better most Hilton’s are usually a lot better.More

The overall rating brought down to Average by the staff, Very Good food though. Staying at the hotel we ate dinner and breakfast here. I was able to chat to the chefs and I was left with the impression of their compassion to their food...and wanting to give you a great experience. The front-of-house staff however, unsmiling and generally disengaged, more so the senior crew. Breakfast is great, again the chefs were so helpful. Buffet style with plastic screening helped it feel safe and hygienic.More

Wox is not only a fine dining restaurant. They also offer a lighter menu and I had one of the BEST FISH & CHIPS I have ever had in Iceland or anywhere else. The restaurant is very nice and the service was friendly and professional

Nice size booths, but tables not well set out, and too much lighting. Slowish service. Food was tasty and reasonable portions, but overall experience was let down by above. Drinks selection was good. We did not want to eat out, so that was our choice...as it is out of town.More

Because we are staying in the hotel here at the Hilton, Vox their in-house restaurant was our first port of call. Excellent meal and first class service. Sensible portions but exquisitely cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is the same one as used for the buffet breakfast. We had a long day out and decided to pop in here for dinner. It was really nice, not too busy on a Saturday night which was good Service was good & friendly...Food was amazing, loved the fish and chips and the shellfish pasta 🙂 Thank you!More

We had lunch here. More than just a buffet - a wide variety of hot and cold courses to suit even the most particular diner. Fine food in a most comfortable environment, as one would expect of the Hilton. Furthermore I considered it to be...excellent value for money. Staff on duty were polite and most helpful. We may consider staying at this Hotel when we next visit Reykjavik. Try it out.. You will not be disappointed!More

We were welcomed with champagne, and tasty springy bread with gingerbread spices was waiting on the table. We were seated in front of the open kitchen where, unfortunately, they were cooking the monkfish with oil so it smelled like we were having teppanyaki. I’m not...a fan of open kitchens, but it was interesting to see the dishes being prepared for the set menu. All the menu dishes sounded tasty, but the bread was the highlight. Service was pretty good, but we asked for a taxi and never got one so we had to ask again at the hotel front desk. This restaurant is located at the Hilton.More

We had a great experience at Vox. Our service was professional and attentive without being overbearing or pretentious. We had the Beef Wellington which was so good and had a table-side presentation for the service. The dessert was also delicious. It may be pricey, but...I've definitely paid more for worse.More
