Fantastic food hall on the harbour in Reykjavik. We came here after the Fly over experience as it’s right across the road. I chose Korean street food, oumph tacos and Korean fried cauliflower - absolutely delicious! My partner got a fish burger from the little...fish and chips stand which he said was delicious and very good quality fish. Had a few beers too, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.More

We stopped hear after our whale watching trip and was not disappointed. 7 street food truck all under one roof. Took a while to choose but settled on pizza and Korean tacos. Price was about £10 each but food was cooked to order and delicious....A bit away from the centre of town next to the harbour but definitely worth itMore

I'm glad I did some research before our trip otherwise I may not have found this place; a collection of street food stalls surround communal central dining area. We had Korean burgers but it all looked fantastic - including pizza, pasta, fish and chips, Indian,...something for every taste really. Highly recommended for a trip away from the centre of town.More

Great place to go for a variety of affordable food options. We had a pizza form Eatlan and wraps from KORE which was especially good as they had Viking beer on Happy Hour until 19:00

This place was where we were sent our first night near hotel. Maybe its what we got, but it sucked and wasn't all that cheap. Essentially a food court with seating with others. Looking for something Icelandic as just arrived. Got Lamb soup and Fish...and Chips. Watery bland soup and greasy fish. Wished we had gone to Flatey pizza or Viet Noodles, which we did later and were better.More

Upscale food hall - with wine and beer - and good variety of restaurants, including Italian. It was so good we went back a second time.

There are a variety of restaurants in the hall with different types of food, so everyone in your group can find something they like. The prices were reasonable. There are a number of tables in the center, which was good for maintaining distance during Covid...times. The adjacent room smelled too much like fish to be able to eat in there.More

Excellent food hall! It’s mainly locals who come here. So ya know it must be good. I had the fish n chips at Frystihusid and it was so delicious I ordered a second plate of chips. The fish n chips was only $19 USD. My...second plate of French fries was only $5 USD. What a good value for Iceland especially. I also had the cappuccino from Eatlan Pizza, and it was also excellent.More

This place was recommended by the staffer at the Saga Museum, and we're so glad she did. Now, this is not like a food court in the US! It had a number of food stands/booths, each offering distinctive food: Fish n chips, fresh lamb, pasta,...pizza, Indian...My wife opted for pasta and enjoyed it; I visited the fresh lamb booth and got a lamb pita, served with a generous amount of fries, and a great sauce. It was similar to, but better than, a lamb gyro one might get at home. And one of the most reasonably priced food finds in all of Reyjkavik.More

We found this amazing food hall in the town centre. The choices from the different vendors was great. We found a favourite that sold local dishes which were absolutely delicious. The kurtsuppa (type of lamb stew) is gorgeous . Prices were reasonable compared to more..."up market" restaurants. Everything cooked fresh. Mainly used by locals, very friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but good food good valueMore

Our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) visited Grandi Food Hall for dinner on a recent trip to Reykjavik. We arrived somewhat early (we were jet lagged and hungry) on week night, and it was relatively quiet with plenty of parking right out front. We...walked around to the various stalls to figure out what we wanted. We had chicken, fried shrimp, lamb stew, and a lamb burger, all of which were great (especially the lamb dishes from Fjarhusid). Great value too compared to what we could have spent on dinner elsewhere. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner, especially if you have a group with diverse tastes. There's likely something for everyone at Grandi. And had we not been forced to go home due to the pending travel bans, we likely would have returned.More

Went twice during our 4 day stay. Recommend the lobster soup and grilled prawns from LAX. Happy hour a great time for very reasonably priced drinks. Not to be missed.
