We found this amazing food hall in the town centre. The choices from the different vendors was great. We found a favourite that sold local dishes which were absolutely delicious. The kurtsuppa (type of lamb stew) is gorgeous . Prices were reasonable compared to more..."up market" restaurants. Everything cooked fresh. Mainly used by locals, very friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but good food good valueMore

Our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) visited Grandi Food Hall for dinner on a recent trip to Reykjavik. We arrived somewhat early (we were jet lagged and hungry) on week night, and it was relatively quiet with plenty of parking right out front. We...walked around to the various stalls to figure out what we wanted. We had chicken, fried shrimp, lamb stew, and a lamb burger, all of which were great (especially the lamb dishes from Fjarhusid). Great value too compared to what we could have spent on dinner elsewhere. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner, especially if you have a group with diverse tastes. There's likely something for everyone at Grandi. And had we not been forced to go home due to the pending travel bans, we likely would have returned.More

Went twice during our 4 day stay. Recommend the lobster soup and grilled prawns from LAX. Happy hour a great time for very reasonably priced drinks. Not to be missed.

Came across this place on Tripadvisor and after seeing photos of the food and other reviews I knew I needed to visit. There were about 8 food stalls in total serving all types of food from tradtional Icelandic dishes like fish and chips and lamb...soup, to Korean cuisine, pizza and even vegan options. We were able to try food from a few different stalls while we were here including Lax, KORE and Hensnakofinn. All the food we had was delicious but I would recommend Korean chicken tacos - they are unreal!! Only 5 minutes drive from the center of Reykjavik so if you have time it's worth the visit. The staff here were so friendly and helpful - they were even able to call a taxi for us when we were heading back to the center.More

Tucked inside the fish processing plant is this great food hall. The lamb guy had some of the best burgers we had in Reykjavik. Also the fish and chips were excellent, no surprise where the fish comes from next door, super fresh. Reasonable prices for...food alsoMore

OMG!!!! Best food of our Icelandic tour! We ordered the seafood platter and were amazed and thrilled at the quality and quantity of the food. Easily shareable by two people. And they have Prosecco on tap! It just doesn’t get better than that
