From Icelandic lamb dishes to Korean street food, Grandi Food Hall offers reasonably priced meals for both lunch and dinner. I had the lamb in pita bread from Fjarhusid and my daughter pizza from Skjaldbakan and were both pleasantly surprised. The setting is nice in...More

We came here as a family of 5, based on the recommendation of our tour guide. There's a good choice across a reasonable selection of food types, but it doesn't really matter what you chose as it's all excellent. Its especially great for families, where...More

We ate at Krost one night and Fjárhúsið the second and wished we had discovered it earlier. We had walked past and seen it packed and assumed it was a wine bar but when we were brave enough to venture in the next night, discovered...More

There are about half a dozen vendors to choose from, so everyone can pretty much find something to eat. I had a salad with smoked lamb. Not sure what smoked lamb is, except heavenly. And the salad wasn't limp pieces of lettuce. It was a...More

Prices are sky-high in Reykjavik, but you can get some relief at the Grandi foodhall. The lamburger was good and the fish sandwiches are usually a good choice. Wine by the glass at a fair price, too. The atmosphere isn't much, but it's a comfortable...More

My husband and I went to the fish and chip shop and had the best fish and chips we have ever had! They were haddock I believe and were prepared perfectly. The fish was not dry and the batter wasn’t too thick. I would recommend...More
