Really nice homely and warm coffee shop on the harbour. Cosy place, with lovely view of marina. Great coffee and friendly staff . For Iceland very reasonable prices. It was a great place to warm up after my whale watching tour.
The location is fabulous, lovely view of the harbour. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious; we had the breakfast platter and the chorizo croissanwich. Very reasonably priced for Iceland too!
We went there with our kids age 5 and 8 and we all loved it. The coffee is really great and our kids had the banana / Nutella croissant. They loved it and wanted more. The view is great and the staff very friendly. Also...the little shop has very nice thing to offer. In the café were also some games for the kids and also adults. Just nice! Will come back next time we are in IcelandMore
Located overlooking the old harbour, this coffee shop features big picture windows looking out to sea towards the mountains.
My wife and I both had the soup and sandwich combo. The soup was red pepper and lentil, there's a choice of several sandwiches and we...had the marinated chicken, which incidentally comes as a toasted sandwich.
The food was served quickly and comes fresh and hot. The flavours of both were superb and blended together nicely. Warming, filling, and tasty, exactly what we needed. I had swapped to gluten free bread for a very reasonable 150isk (about £1) more.
With two teas (and free water) it came to about £32. Not cheap but then most of Iceland isn't.
Well worth a visit for the great views, great food, and great service.More
