Never missed a stop! Every single time we've been going to Reykjavík in the last 5 years we've been visiting bioborgari! They have hands down the best VEGAN burgers in town! Everything is made from scratch with high quality ingredients, the freshness and taste combination...are just amazing! This was their last opening weekend in rkv but we will follow their project and pop-ups around Iceland. Highly recommend to follow and not miss any of their future events! Last but not Least...the staff and the vibe will make it an unike experience!More

Nice place with a very good burger - I tried lamb burger and my friend stayed with a regular beef one - both very tasty! bit out of main street but still good location

Visited with a friend during a trip to Reykjavik, and this was by no means a bad stop off for a quick dinner. The restaurant itself is quite small and will only hold a few people at a time. Luckily we didn’t have a problem...at the time we dropped in. My friend ordered one of the meat burgers and said it was fantastic. Great flavour combinations and cooked very well. I’m a vegetarian and wasn’t quite as thrilled with the options open to me. They have a veggie burger on the menu, but it’s a fried vegetable patty which didn’t really hit the mark. It was a little dry, and whilst not unpleasant, it certainly wasn’t anything to write home about. Would have been amazing to have had seitin (or other “fake meat”) variation. Would have also loved to have had fries as an available side dish too. Found it strange that these were forgone in a burger restaurant in favour of mash potatoes and soup. The staff who were serving were all lovey and friendly. They turned around our order quickly too. No long waits. To conclude, I’d say if you’re a carnivore, this is probably going to be a good shout. If you’re a veggie, or have one in your party, might be worth having a look at other options.More

Found this place because of the great reviews online, we were not disappointed. It’s only small so you might have to squeeze in but it’s worth it. Burger was incredible, tasted so fresh. I don’t normally like mashed potatoes but also really liked the ones...served here Would definitely recommendMore

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this hidden gem whilst sight seeing in Reykjavik and stopped in for a quick bite. It felt very homely and the couple working were so friendly and welcoming, the burger then topped off the experience as it is the...best one I've ever had. Highly recommend a visit for anyone in the areaMore

The burger was amazing the flavours really hit the spot. It was a bit colder than I was hoping but the taste overwhelmed me. The backed potato in pesto ended up being pesto chips. Again what a magnificent taste, I will have a go when...I get home.More

We went here for dinner after one of our tours since it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. Like a lot of other restaurants, it’s pretty small (1 table and a few chairs along the front of the restaurant), and the menu...is pure simplicity. But, don’t let that fool you because the burgers are great with some pretty complex flavors and unique ingredients. The burgers were cooked perfectly over their simple charcoal grill and we had the potato salad with the burgers (which was great as well). All in all, a very good, reasonably priced (for Reykjavik anyways. Paid 2600 krona) burger place that shouldn’t be missed!More

We both loved the veggie burgers here. As a long time veggie fan, I have high expectations but, this burger was delicious. Maybe a little on the smaller side and, as it's Iceland, rather expensive but, it was tasty. Staff was friendly and was playing...(and singing along) to some good 80's music.More

Excellent restaurant near the harbor. I tried two hamburgers of their menu and were great. I specially liked the pesto sauce they used. The owners and staff are super friendly and provide great service. Make sure to visit them if you’re are in Reykjavik.

Best burger joint in Reykjavík, for real. This is not a regular burger place, everything there is made by heart and you can both feel it and taste it. They are involved in all the processes going on around the restaurant from building the space...themselves to growing the organic veggies. This is how the future should look like; a dream come true!More

I tried the beef burger. It was very good. They make everything from scratch. The "ketchup" was chunky and well balanced with a lot of flavour. The bun light and fluffy. The patty, organic and charcoal grilled had a great texture and was well spiced....The atmosphere is friendly and you can see how your burger gets manufactured. The menu is simple but that keeps the quality on a high level how it seems.More
