The setting is cozy and spacious, if somewhat too formal, especially for italian type ambiance. The food however, is amazing, staff is very professional and friendly and it is one of very few places in town with homemade pasta. Book it!
We went for an early dinner. Everything was perfect. The ingredients worked so well together and where of great quality. I highly recommend this place.
We had a "Excellent dinner" at La Primavera last we. As usual great atmosphere, perfect services and the food at highest level. Thanks very much and look forward to visit you again.
Our first family night in iceland and we was not wanting to just get some quick take away food. So glad we didn't. The food here is fantastic, not much in the way of kids menus but my daughter and wife had the ravioli which...was very nice and plates were empty. The breads and oil was very nice . I had the seafood Fettuccine with garlic and chilli and can honestly say it's probably the best Italian meal I have ever had. We was all impressed with the deserts too. Will dine here again on our return to iceland. Full 5 stars.More
Never been to La Primavera before and we were in for a treat. We really enjoyed the food and the great service
Arrived with high expectations. Left with expectations exceeded. Brilliant food and unobtrusive service.
Saw this restaurant recommended in a Sunday paper review and decided to try it out in between our whale watching trip ( at 13.00 hrs) and Northern lights trip ( at 21.00 hrs). In a renovated fish factory at the far reaches of the harbour...area, it is an appealing and original space with an art gallery upstairs. The restaurant had just opened at 6pm and we were offered a table ( without a booking!) Empty at first, the locals began to arrive in hoards and made for an atmospheric “ buzzy” vibe. The food ( we chose a tasting menu) was fabulous- the service, originality and taste all had the wow factor. Michelin standard in our view. With a cocktail to start and just a glass of wine/beer each, it wasn’t cheap ( at around £150 for the two of us) but well worth it. Best to book to avoid disappointment.More
As usual we have perfect visit to La Primavera last night. Excellent food and services at same standard. Great relaxed atmosphere. Thank you very much and look forward to see you all soon!
I frequently visit this restaurant and it is about time I thank them for their excellent Italian food. I think everything on the menu is good, I have tried most of it. The restaurant is not in the centre but close, well worth the short...taxi ride or walk.More
