I chanced upon Thai Kitchenn at the start of Bugartun when taking an evening walk from my hotel to the Hofdi House and suddenly thinking it would be nice to eat Thai for dinner, I gave it a try. I am very glad I did; I had the best musulman curry I've ever had: the portions were generous and served quickly and piping hot. The ingredients were fresh and very, very tasty. Maybe I got lucky as I was the only diner for most of the time I was there, but I found the service good. But it's the food that would make me go back - really tasty.

We've traveled the world, eaten in many Thai Restaurants and this is some of the best Thai Cuisine we've enjoyed! We were very surprised with the taste, presentation - ample servings. Most diners want nicer surroundings and fancier conditions, but if you just want fabulous Thai Cuisine, then make time to visit Thai Kitchen. Give them a try; you'll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy! We sure did.

We , my wife and myself, saw the Thai Kitchen on our way back to our hotel after a day sightseeing in Reykjavík. We decided to go there after a day trip to Southern Iceland that didn’t go to plan due to bad weather . Anyway when we entered we were surprised to see how full the place was , think it probably seats around thirty to forty people. We managed to get a table and menus and after a few minutes proceeded to order drinks , shortly followed by food . We ordered satay chicken skewers as a starter which we shared , and I ordered chicken massaman curry with rice , my wife ordered chicken in cashew nut sauce and rice . The food was delicious, both of us agreeing , best satay chicken we’ve ever had think my wife found a new favourite with the chicken cashew sauce , and the massaman was spot on . Definitely recommend the food , but as with everywhere in Iceland ,quite pricey . Thoroughly enjoyed the meals tho.

We were looking for places to eat reachable on foot near the Foss Hotel. This Thai restaurant is almost across the street from the hotel and my daughter wanted to try their green curry. She found the curry to be pleasantly spicy and she chose to add chicken. The egg roll appetizer serving was generously portioned and the filling was ample - I hate it when restaurants give you an almost empty egg roll. I had the shrimp in satay sauce which was a new sauce for me. The shrimp were good sized

Awesome Thai food with excellent service! My kids love Thai food, and they said this is one of the best Thai restaurants they’ve been to from our travels around the US. The atmosphere was very relaxing with soft piano music playing while we enjoyed our food.

The food was delicious. The menu is extensive, with a range of spice levels and dishes to choose from. The portions are large. I had the pad thai which had just a hint of heat -- excellent! My dining partner had fried rice which was very good and not too greasy. They don't list all the ingredients so make sure to ask if you have allergies.

Small, cozy, romantic setting. Food is amazing. We sampled the Cashew Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. The sauces in the dishes are amazing, far beyond what we have experienced in other European cities. We strongly recommend this experience.

We came here after a long day exploring the sights of the golden circle and wanted to walk somewhere from our hotel.
Cosy neighbourhood Thai with a wide variety of choice as well as a DIY option, you can choose the sauce you like and the protein.
Decent food which did the job however we found it very overpriced even for Iceland. Over £70 for 1 * main each and 1 * drink each.

This restaurant was a great find after a long day of driving. The food was yummy and portions generous. It’s a very casual spot but the server was friendly and food came out exactly as requested. I recommend it as it’s a nice change from typical Icelandic food in the city.

Authentic Thai food that was delicious! The atmosphere is quaint and the people who work in the restaurant were kind. The portions were huge—we packed ours and took it to our hotel for another meal. We had Pad Thai Shrimp, Coconut Chicken soup, Tempura Shrimp, and Pad Thai Chicken. Delicious!!

We ate at the restaurant after coming back late from an organized tour. It's a small place and at 8:00 there was only one table open. There is a reason for this because the food was very good. They mixed up the hotness level on our two meals but my wife and I just switched and it worked out. They have extra Thai spices if you ask for them.

Went here because it was right next to the Fosshotel and was really glad we did.
Service is fast and friendly.
Small cosy restaurant with only about 8-9 tables. Plenty of locals popping in for takeaways which is always a good sign.
Food is absolutely delicious!
