This is a tapas style restaurant. We had the charcuterie board, quinoa salad, mushroom risotto salad, beef taco, reindeer and asparagus side. Each dish was amazing! The atmosphere was intimate and the prices were reasonable for the area. The view of the cathedral was exquisite....Very highly reccomend.More

We were exploring Reykjavik on the last day of our holiday. We’d not planned eat here but just as we got to Hallgrimskirkja it started to rain heavily. We took shelter in the restaurant and decided to have lunch. The service was excellent with friendly,...helpful, accommodating staff. We were looking at a set menu however the waitress explained that a two plate lunch option was actually better value. We went with the recommendation but didn’t save any money as we spent more on wine!. The food was excellent, we had two meat and two fish dishes which we really enjoyed. Taking into account the location (near the big church) and the fact the Iceland is not a cheap place to eat we thought the prices were very reasonable. I’m so glad the weather made us seek shelter and eat here it was great experience. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for several more glasses of wine after we’d finished our meal. I’d recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat there again.More

Excellent service, excellent food, and staff so helpful with my gluten intolerant son. We ate here for New Years Eve and it will be remembered as part of a fantastic memory of Iceland! Thank you

Charming small restaurant across from the church. We very much enjoyed a late lunch here, especially the hot cheese sharing plate.

Stopped by this cute little restaurant for a light meal and a drink. The wait staff were grumpy, cold, and overall gave me an uncomfortable feeling. I ordered a reindeer filet (sorry Santa!), and it, like the wait staff, was also cold. The meat was...warmish but the potatoes and sauce were cold. A couple came in and sat at the bar while I was eating. They ended up leaving after repeatedly ordering drinks and not having success getting them from the bartenders. Very pretentious place.More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as being a good place for a celebration meal. As others have said, it’s kind of Icelandic tapas, or more accurately, raciones, as the portions are bigger than tapas. It’s hugely popular with locals and not without good...reason. We opted for the larger Christmas tasting menu (there was a smaller one). It was, quite simply, superb. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Smart casual, with friendly service. The restaurant was buzzing and yet had an intimate atmosphere. It was, by Icelandic standards, pretty reasonably priced, bearing in mind the very high standard and amount of food. The meal for two with a bottle of house Pinot Grigio came to around £120, so £60 a head. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.More

Excellent…service, food and cocktails. Everything was fresh and tasty…even the reindeer. We went for dinner and had the best meal. Format is mid sized tasting plates from various courses and everything is served at once but they did not rush us out and we lingered...after ordering dessert. Definitely on the smart, casual side. Ambience was very lively so if you are looking for an intimate, quiet dinner avoid the crowds. Even at 530pm it was packed.More

Excellent meal. Icelandic take on tapas. Broad menu to seat meat lovers and vegetarians. Delicious food, would go back every night! Lovely setting at the Church

It's a new restaurant and unfortunately they don't seem to have the menu online yet.
