Visited this bakery while out shopping and sightseeing with my family. The bakery is located in a building with a beautiful, colorful mural on it. We got some delicious pastries which we sat outside and ate. They were really tasty! If you’re in the area,...stop by and get yourself a treat!More

There’s no better place for starting your morning in Reykjavik. Even on a Sunday morning, there were people waiting outside before the 6:30 am opening. We had a cinnamon roll, a danish, a raspberry croissant and a plain croissant, and each pastry was superb. Buttery,...flaky, lots of filling - everything you’d want from a pastry. If we’re ever in Reykjavik again, we won’t skip this place.More

Best prices for pastries and coffee downtown. We had the pain au chocolat and the cinnamon roll. Yummy! Great service with a smile!

Was starting our day in Reykjavík and decided to stop by this popular bakery to try their pastries as we read good reviews online and saw a queue the day before. A cool, cosy spot, we entered to be greeted with so many lovely pastries...we didn't know what to choose. So we got the staff to recommend us a few and boy, I had the best cinnamon roll in my life! It was a large portion, fluffy and flaky on the outside, not too sweet and the cinnamon wasn't overpowering but delicious. I've had so many cinnamon rolls (even famous ones) but this one was really special.More

Best bakery in Iceland. We fell in love with the cinnamon scrolls and the rhubarb slice (happy marriage cake). So good that we went twice and stocked up to have for breakfast the next day as we won’t be in the area!

Fantastic bakery. The caramel-pecan pastries were sticky and lovely, and the chili-cheese knots were large, cheesy, and lightly spicy. Would easily go there for something every morning.

Some of the best pastries we have tasted anywhere in the world. Rhubarb and jam slice, hazelnut and custard and cinnamon buns - outstanding. Go to coffee next door at roasters - match made in heaven!

We ate here every morning we were in Reykjavik. It was just down the street from the hotel and we just kept wanting to try more. My husband even had to run down there to get pastries before catching our flight.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast out last day in Iceland. They were quick and friendly. All of the lovely mouth watering aromas will definitely leave a mental bookmark for the trip. We all got rolls which were soft and warm as they should be....Melt in your mouth tastes. We will make sure to revisit on future trips. Thank you #somebodyfeedphil for the recommendation to visit the shop well worth it.More

If you visit Reykjavik without going to Braud & Co for a cinny bun, you are doing yourself a disservice. I got a vanilla bun, and sat outside of the steps of an apartment building. There was no doubt in my mind the bar had...been set, and will likely never be topped. You'll walk right past every Cinnabon that crosses your path for the rest of your life.More
