Stopped by the multicolored building after visiting the church. Actually the aroma of baked goods lured us in. Needless to say it was everything as advertised, great baked goods.

Love the cinnamon roll and the ham and cheese croissant! They are warm and tasty, and also perfect for grab-and-go.

We stumbled upon this place due to the amazing baked goods smell from a half block away. Decided to give it a try after seeing tons of people eating some of the desserts and are we glad we did. Everything looked so good, we tried...a few different items, and everyone was fresh and delicious. The fruit pastry was one of the best bakery items I have ever tasted. Staff is friendly and helpfulMore

I loved getting breakfast here while in Reykjavik. The croissants were so flaky and delicious and the cinnamon rolls were huge!! It was the last stop we made before we flew home.

best breads and pastries in Reykjavik, they do coffee to go, great place for breakfast or lunch, only 2 seats to sit indoors, but there is outdoor seating nearby.

Quaint and colorful busy bakery. You will find it by the line going out of the door. The smells are amazing and the bakery is great.

This was our go-to place every morning for breakfast and it was amazing. Favorites included: cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant, raspberry danish, hazelnut danish, ikorn sliced bread, hummus to go was excellent, choc chip cookies were good as well. The coffee is simple, self serve -...no lattes or espresso. But you can add oat milk or have regular milk. If you want fancier coffee, then go to Sandholt which is nearby.More

We came several times during the trip for croissants, cinnamon rolls, and beverages. We can see why there was a line early morning, even when they opened at 6:30a.m. Staff was attentive and polite. We are so glad we visited!

This was the first thing we did after dropping our bags at our hotel and it was worth it. A delicious treat and just down from the church

The pastries are amazing (especially their famous cinnamon rolls). My wife and I visited two separate locations (bookending our 8-day tour) because we wanted more before going home. Well worth the walk...

The only downside is that the bakery was too close to our Airbnb! We wanted to eat these cinnamon buns for breakfast every morning.

This bakery is famous and deserves its fame. Their wares and scrumptious. However it is only take away. Definitely have to go once but that may not be enough.

Amazing pastries. Good selection and service. Take away and sit admiring the views or the cathedral. Croissants particularly good.

We had chocolate croissants and they were delicious. But I would be very cautious in another country with any food/nut allergy. Sorry.
