It is a comfortable café close to everything, just foot steps to my Guesthouse. Bonus it is open on Mondays, most of the Restaurants were not. I had Steak (there are VEGAN options) and it was cooked perfectly, and I say that because I order...Blue Rare and it is almost always overcooked.More

Small cosy restaurant. Fully packed. Reservation is recommended. Full of locals. Fish soup was really excellent. Lambchops were great. Fair price.

We had an early dinner and it was great! We had hamburgers (rib eye and one vegan) and Buffalo wings, apple cake and coffee. All was great. Fresh and tasty

This restaurant hit the spot with all four of us on our trip through the Westfjords. The fish soup was perfect and the bread crusty and yummy. My husband had the four course lamb chop dinner and all courses were excellent with four perfectly cooked...lamb chops. Our traveling companions had the steak sandwiches and said they were very good. Our server spoke perfect English and was very good at explaining all the dishes. This restaurant was definitely in our top two or three in all of Iceland.More

We loved this place! Great decor, very clean, super food and kind staff. Our best food experience in Iceland. We ordered seafood soup (served with good bread and pesto) and lamb chops. Absolutely great!

Great service! I wS traveling with a group who wanted to do a strictly seafood meal so I set out, initially, on my own. 2 others did join me and we were very pleased. My reservation was for 7. When my friends tried to score...a reservation a few hours after I aced mine, they were told restaurant was full. They jumped on to mine and it worked out great. This place wS packed with families and locals so definitely get a reservation. Because we had to wait for our table, our drinks were comped. THIS is what sets aside good service from amazing service. The food was 'american' in so many ways. All good and reasonably priced. Portions would please most Americans as well. Go for the pizza! Both made high marks. The pita was basically a hamburger with salad which hit the spot. There is a basil olive oil that is a must try. Don't miss this gem!More

Very large portions so you won’t get cheated here. Located in a relatively small old house not far from the city center. I had the “good pick” which was seafood soup, ribeye steak and dessert. The soup was excellent with lots of fish and shrimp...in it. Ribeye was just ok. The salted caramel cake was also really good. We would definitely come back here if we are ever back in the west fjordsMore

We had a really nice dinner. Cool building. It was a little crowded feeling, but otherwise nice atmosphere. Fish soup was really good, fish of the day was great. Salted caramel cale for dessert was great as well.
