Family-run restaurant in the heart of Keflavik. Hamburgers, fish and chips, etc.all of the usual suspects served in a clean, friendly environment.

We had the Lamb Hoagie and the Pulled Pork Hoagie with sweet potato Fries and onion rings as a go order. Neither sandwich had much flavor even with all the sauces.

Good value for money

Excellent burger and fries, cooked fresh to order. Out side looks a bit drab but appearances can be deceptive. Friendly staff and good value for money.

Try the philly Olsen

I've had the philly Olsen on 3 separate occasions , each time it's been lovely melt in your mouth good... Tried philly cheese steak at a few other places but this is by far the best for me .. great service

It was such a good experience! The guy who took our order was the kindest ever! (He even gave to me some Kr from his tips for us to know the Icelandic coins!) Food: large amount and great taste! Definitely we’ll go again!

Surprisingly Delicious Tasty Hamburger

I choose the jumping jacks hamburgers and my friend got country hunk and in his hamburger has 2x120g = 240g of meat and mine was 150g I only wish one thing is that my stomach is still hungry so I can try all the dishes on the menu :)) But next time when I come back to the Iceland, I will definitely come back at Olsen :))

Lamb Hoagie Very Good!

I ate the Lamb Hoagie as Take Out. It was tasty, amply sized, and quickly prepared. Location is close to downtown, so was an easy walk from the Jazz Hotel.

Hello Bill A, We really appreciate for your review and thank you for your honest, We are just not sure what is your meaning about "special of the day" ? Because we just don't have that. If this is the correct review about one of our burgers that you might have, then I would first apologise for your experiment, but then I really have to explain a bit about it. Our burgers are about 5 ounces to 12 ounces of meat ( all others ingredients are not counted ). All medium size patty of others burger joint are about from 3 to 4.5 ounces of meat. You are welcome to change the patty to bigger size or doubled it to 12 ounces as you want if you find it is too small. We also figure that you have misunderstanding the price. But we can make sure to you that we have the best quality, big quantity and a good fair price of food in the city. Please let us know if we have misunderstand you anywhere, We would happy to have you visit us another time if you didn't like the last meal that you paid for, at our place. Good burger joint/diner

I ate here twice. Once I had the diner's version of a Philly Cheese Steak--not 100% Philly-like, but pretty good--and once I had a bacon cheese burger. Quality is good, but expect to pay about double what you'd pay for such fare in the USA. That's just Iceland: most foodstuffs must be flown or shipped in, so dining is expensive, everywhere. Staff at this diner were very polite, and service was fast.

Fun, retro American diner!

Lucky for us, this restaurant was one of the few open on New Years Eve. Good fries, pizza, beer and wine in an old fashioned American themed diner. We'll be back.
