Waited 30 mins for our drinks. They forgot the lobster w/t surf’n turf and we ordered rare steaks and got them well done. Bartender was rude. will not be going there again.

So we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to start the day with a brunch. We noticed on their website that they had brunch every weekend so wee booked a table at 11. Sadly the kitchen didn´t open til 11:30 and the brunch quit in...December. The food was good and the service was lovely but sadly this kind of amateurism should not be acceptable for a place like this. Firstly why would you book us a table in advance without letting us know that there were 30 minutes until you guys open and secondly don´t advertise stuff online you don´t offer any more. But as i say again the food is good the staff is nice and the setting is lovely but this kind of management is unacceptable.More
Library, it's sound good, nice atmosphere, good vibes and many books around. Original design, for sure appreciated not just by booklovers, but also by foodlovers and gourmet. Fine food and drinks, as local Icelandic beer. The staff is very sympathetic and kind, so you can...enjoy not just good quality food, but a romantic atmosphere and a comfort in a warm place at all sences. Reading and eating!More
very good bacaloe library in raddisson very good service and food worth a visit expensive but it's iceland
Great find the fish and chips are amazing we both had them and good size portions, good selection of drinks and food with friendly staff, good atmosphere and the restaurant is furnished very smartly, excellent value also would highly recommend.
Not busy, no service, half a steak sandwich, sloppy burger, horrible sauce, dirty container for fries, like the container had this black stuff all on the inside of mine and my boyfriends tin. When I rubbed it with my fingers it legit came off!! Drinks...served at the end of our meal, ignored for a long time. People were served who came in after us and got their food before us. Will not be returning or recommending! TOURISTS BEWARE.More
Usually when we stay in Keflavik, we eat over at the Duus. This time, there was a staff party one of the nights so we drove the short distance from the Berg Hotel ( !!) down to the center of 'town' to the Library. They...were absolutely slammed but we found a little table in the lobby/bar and had a very nice meal. Salmon, bacalao, wine. Prices were pretty reasonable for Iceland. Service was excellent even though they must have had a million people in there. Definitely would go again.More
Great service, the food was also very good and the place was cozy and warm.We only stayed 2 nights but everything was amazing!
Great service, the food was also very good and the place is cozy and warm. We only stayed there 1 night and didn’t know where to eat so this was a surprising experience! Absolutely recommended! I think the library burger is a must, we saw...multiple tables ordering it.More
Hit the LiBRARY Bistro/bar for a late dinner after a day of sightseeing and prior to an early morning flight out. We had a reservation but was really not needed as there were only 2-3 other groups at 21:00. The bar/lounge was very inviting, even...with the three loud, semi-drunk Icelandic ladies hooting and hollering. Our table was in the main dining area (away from the hooting and hollering). Our server was prompt and efficient. Nice drink menu and a pretty varied dining menu. We were tired and were pleased at how promptly we were served. I see some of these horrible reviews but it does not jive with our experience.More
