We grabbed dinner after a whale watch and everything was perfect! Local Husavik craft beer on tap, delicious pulled lamb sourdough pita starter, and the best fish soup we have had so far, with a hint of curry. Great flavors!! Bread was delicious and the...service was excellent.More

We ate dinner here the night before our whale watching trip. There food was fantastic and the service was very good. I started with the fish soup which was excellent. We both had fish and chips. It was very greasy but if you’re okay with...that you’ll love it. It was wonderful. Finished up with chocolate mousse and a cappuccino. Great night out.More

Great, friendly service with a welcoming atmosphere. We had the catch of the day (Cod), their signature soup, smash burger, fish and chips, and chocolate cake. Portion sizes were plentiful. Everything was mouth-watering and left us wanting more - even though we were very full....Best tasting food we have enjoyed in years, and we left very happy and satisfied.More

My husband and I decided to try this placed based on other reviews and are we glad we did! As soon as we arrived, a very nice young gentleman greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. We decided that we would try the fish...soup (which was the best fish soup I’ve ever had), surf and turf, lamb and salmon. We also had the date and rhubarb dessert with a cappuccino and latte. Everything from the food, to the service and atmosphere was completely perfect. I would highly recommend!More

The best dinner we had in Iceland. We were there following a recommendation and it was ideal. The restaurant is located in an old typical yellow house. They served excellent fish and also a great dish of lamb. Do not miss the spicy fish soup,...is a signature of the restaurant. Finally we have an special mention to the delicious chocolate and the "Dora the date" cakes. The service was impecable.More

We really enjoyed the calm and cozy atmosphere. The menu tells about icelandic tradition with some fusion influences. Every dish we ordered was delicious, in particularly I would recommend their unique soup, their super fresh catch of the day and, of course, their desserts. Don't...miss it!More

They offer some proper seafood dishes and not just hamburger and pizza. A very young and energetic team welcoming both locals and tourists with same enthusiam and passion. We had the fish soup and mussels - both delicious. We also recommend our main courses, the...fish of the day and the fish taco. Both fresh, well presented and delicious. This is one of the only restaurants we ate during our round the ring road trip that explained to us what fishes they offer with pictures. They are also happy to cater for special occasions, I sincerely thank them and wish them success. Come here when you visit Husavik.More

Recommed the fishsoup for starter and went on to fish of the day, cod on this particular day. Excellent service and the food I got was great.

The salmon and the cod were really fresh and tasty. The desserts (chocolate brownie and skyramisú) were ok. Staff very gentle, specially Guillem.

We had a lovely meal in this cosy restaurant. Went for lunch as the night before it was impossible to have dinner there without a reservation. Everything was delicious, we had the fish soup (a must!) and the catch of the day, artic char grilled...to perfection. Very relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially the young waiter from Barcelona.More

We were there in August so I am not sure. May seems a good month for visiting the island so I suppose they are, but I recommend to email them directly!
