Try their seafood specials. Everything on the menu is tasty. They have a variety of great beverages including a local craft beer on tap.

We tried this out after our Salka whale watching and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent, especially the lamb. Good beer on tap, and solid service. Food was also very kid-friendly. Lovely looking building with a good atmosphere. All in all a great day.

I order the rack of lamb and my girlfriend ordered the duck. Wish I could've got more lamb because it was fantastic, along with the potato gratin. The duck was very good as well. And 0.5 liter of Gull to wash it all down. Also...More

Was too buttery. I think they over did it with the butter. Had some shrimp, not a lot but no langoustine as promised on the menu. The wine was good and a decent pour. Service was ok, not great but still ok.

Nice wooden house on the harbour The upper floor dining room is cosy and pleasant. Friendly and efficient service Well cooked fish and good desserts. Prices in line with local standards (expensive but not more than Icelandic average)

A lovely restaurant in the centre of Husavik, the salted cod was excellent and we ate upstairs in the roof area, a marvellous place full of atmosphere. Highly recommended.

...choose this restaurant and order fish ! It's quite expensive (like everywhere in Iceland) but this old house has an incredible atmosphere and fishes are prepared with a wide variety of flavors.

The Restaurant Salka is very conveniently located next to the main whale watching companies, in a very nice-looking, traditional building. The food here is authentic, but with a modern twist; tasty, and great portions! The staff is friendly and the food comes very fast -...More

Yes we do. There is a Tofu dish and we make vegetable patties which are served with rice and different sorts of vegetables. Then there are different soups, depending on the daily offer like vegan tomato soup or mushroom soup.

Description
Cozy family owned restaurant offering steaks, seafood, pizza, pasta or burgers made with passion. Our food is not off the shelf, but homemade from scratch. We offer typical icelandic dishes like lamb and cod or catfish in a fresh, modern style. In the summer time it is great to sit outside in our plaza and enjoy delicious food, snacks and cocktails. Housed in one of the oldest buildings in Husavik and in the city centre you can't miss us.
