Low quality, poor service and the most expensive cost for a short hike down to the beach. Probably the only beach in Iceland that costs money to walk on... Don't go there! plenty of more beautiful places to enjoy and spend time at.

Read some visitors complaining about the entrance fees, do bear in mind that this is a private land. It's fair to pay for the upkeep of the place given the busy traffic. The ISK 900 (June 2019) entrance fees paid allow you to drive to...More

This was our turn around location to head back to Reykjavik. Follow the dirt road on the south before the tunnel on the ring road. You'll come to the cafe at the end and go inside and pay the 900 ISK per person to get...More

The Vestrahorn is a beautiful and dramatic mountain east of Hofn. But if you wish to view it from the black sand beach you must pay a fee of 900 ISK per person. We turned around and drove back. Go to Estrahorn instead. Similar mountain,...More

I popped in on a rainy cloudy day, with no view and the somewhat terse (perhaps grumpy) woman wanted to charge me to just walk around the area. I had heard that the area was recently gated and people were charged to drive past the...More

This is where you buy tickets to go see Vestrahorn. Had a sandwich while we were here as the mountain was socked in with clouds. Came back at 3 am because the northern lights were out. Used the ticket machine to get a ticket which...More

The viking village set is somewhat interesting to see but it really starting to run down and we were questioning the safety of a lot of it (be careful where you step). If you are in the Hofn area and looking for an activity it...More

We ended up at the end of the gravel road for some decaf coffee (I have since learned that brewed decaf doesn't exist in Iceland). We settled for tea instead, The family staff was pleasant but the atmosphere was pretty basic and didn't fit my...More

Independientemente del horario, hay un buzón para pagar la entrada y se puede pasar porque no hay Vallas que lo limiten
