This place is amazing !!! First off, the service is super friendly and professional. They are really careful with anti-COVID measures : they ask you to disinfect your hands right before they take you to your table, the tables are several meters apart and the...waiters all wear masks. Now, for the most important part : the food. Or rather the langoustines. WOW !!! Not only are they delicious but they are huge and the servings are super generous. No need for sauce, they are meant to be eaten plain. Anyone who likes seafood, NEEDS to come to this place !!!More

Went there with friends yesterday. We had various appetizers for sharing and they were all excellent and original. The langoustine tails were to write home about - a perfect dish with lot of garlic and cooked to perfection (which is tricky, let me know). The...restaurant has grappa!!! Perfect evening with good friends, well the restaurant does not provide those, but it does provide excellent food.More

Me and my family did pay a visit to Humarhöfnin this week. A Excelent visit. Perfect services and the food at top level. Specially the Lobster.

Went and had the lobster soup, service was good. The soup had really nice lobster and even if the soup itself tasted somewhat unusual to me for a lobster soup (probably the potatoes) it was delightful! The place has a nice history and a great...view of the lobsterboat :)More

Great restaurant, good food and cocktails. Had cocktail for starter and lobster focaccia and champagne as main dish. Everything really tasty, service friendly, all in all great time at this restaurant.

Great lobster, but needs that extra touch in regards to side dishes. Too expensive for what you get. Had the focaccia and the tails to share for two persons, wouldnt have been full unless we dove into what was left of the kids pizza.

Höfn makes the best lobster in the world! 🦞👏🔝 I ordered classic lobster tales, great value for money. Recommend for everybody that loves seafood and a great night out at the harbor 🐟⚓️⛵️

Has the best lobster tails I’ve ever tasted. The owner told how that they buy them directly from the boats and the fishermen take the extra step of tearing the tails off out at sea to ensure quality. Highly recommend!

My family and I recently went to the Humarhöfn. Are experience there was not good and we were all quite disappointed. The langoustine was average and we only had seven small tails and a dry salad. The langoustine was way overpriced for the small amount...we were served. I would recommend to go to the pakkahús rather which is a another lobster place right across the street.More

We had the langoustine tails meal which was very good. The restaurant offers a cozy modern atmosphere in the centre of Hofn. This was the only place we managed to find a table as all restaurant were full. Would recommend booking a table. The only...negative was that we had to wait for a long time by the entrance before being received by any waitress.More

We two arrived there during the high season (July) without reservations and were immediately seated. We saw that larger groups were turned away. I think that it should be much easier in September.
