I"m ready to recommend this place to everyone who will stop in this small town on "Diamond ring". Perfectly balanced and tasty menu, unforgettable taste of lagustines, comfortable atmosphere, excellent wines.

This restaurant was a fantastic place to eat fresh langoustine. Situated a stones throw from the harbour and fishing boats. Good atmosphere friendly, helpful staff and yummy food.

Food was average- For any New Englanders traveling here- it's not lobster- it's not even similar to a spiny lobster. It's langoustine or a very large shrimp. Get the tails vs. the whole "lobster" entree. We left hungry.

It was almost our last night in Iceland so we decided to splash out. It's not cheap, but for the price you get excellent sea food, well cooked, and served by friendly professional staff.

Overall, one of our best meals in Iceland! This is a casual restaurant on one of the main streets in town. The star of the restaurant is the langoustines - sort of a cross between a lobster and a crayfish. I started with the langoustine...More

We had the lobster bisque which had great flavor and big pieces of lobster in it. Then we had the whole lobster and tails plate. I prefer the tails; they’re easier to eat. The lobsters are actually what we call langostinos or danish lobster tails...More

Superb restaurant. Just don’t miss it if you’re in the area. Service was as good as the food and the placement of the restaurant was very nice

The meal of local lobsters or langoustines met the recommendations we got. It was very tasty and well prepared and oh yes very fresh. But it was pricey but not inconsistent with prices in Iceland at a good restaurant. Yes you should consider eating here...More

The langoustine bisque is delicious. Lovely creamy base with a hint of the sea. Homemade croutons top it off. I had the lamb tenderloin which was tender with a mild flavor. Perfect medium rare. Wife went for the langoustine and claimed it was the best...More

We two arrived there during the high season (July) without reservations and were immediately seated. We saw that larger groups were turned away. I think that it should be much easier in September.
