Nearly 1400 before we arrived which meant most other lunchtime diners were finished. Good service and our starter, which we shared, of Gravlax arrived quickly and was very tasty. We both had an entrecote steak, cooked well and presented with a jacket potatoe, beetroot ju and roasted vegetables.

We went for a birthday dinner on a friday. we had already ordered a table but when we came about 5 minutes late our table was not ready. We ordered a lamb fille, beef and a hamburger. I asked for the vine menu three times until the waitress came and told us that they did not had the opertunity to... More

We were staying at an Airbnb in Hafnarfjordur and this was within walking distance so we ate here the first night. Nice little place with a mix of typical fare and traditional Icelandic food. One friend had the whale steak (he couldn't really describe the taste, not fishy or like animal meat but liked it) and another had the horse... More

I stopped in here my first night in Iceland since it was next door to my Gasthaus. The decor and lighting make it very intimate. The staff was friendly and the food superb. I tried a whale steak for the first time. I would steal a line from the pork industry and say that whale is the other red meat.... More

Had a lovely evening meal here. We stayed at the T10 Iceland so about a 15 minute walk into Hafnarfjordur. Looks quite a traditional style restaurant with quirky features. Expensive by British standards for one main course with 1 beer was £35 each. We had steak which was tasty though. Enjoyable evening and would recommend.

The food was quite good, we each had the horse burger and found it to be very good. The prices were good for Iceland (everything in Iceland is expensive).

We went on a whim. Glad we did, the food was nice and the service great. We all had beef steaks. But you do have the choice of Horse, Whale, Lamb etc if that takes your fancy. The restaurant has a traditional feel to it with a nice atmosphere. I would happily go again.

Lobster's soup is way too salty till unable to taste lobster. As of the whale meat was too raw and the vegetable serve with whale meat is too oily. Overall it is indeed a disappointment.

We visited today around 5pm in between tours and the restaurant was nearly empty which we took as a bad sign, but considering the time made sense and more people arrived later on. I had beef steak and fries medium-rare and my partner had the burger - both were cooked perfectly and went down very well! Then we both had... More

The food was just absolutely delicious, after dinner we stayed for a few drinks and it was really reasonable price! I have to mention the waitress and rest of staff were so wonderful, cheerful and genuine! Will definitely go there again, no doubt.
