This was such a fun stop on our way around the Eyjafjordur area! If you get there early enough, you can be seated right above the cows and the robot milker; otherwise, there is also seating in the main lobby area and outside. Our server...told us all about the cow setup and how everything worked. The cafe serves mostly waffles, and we tried both sweet and savory. There is a hamburger waffle with blueberry and BBQ sauce that I wasn't sure about, but the combination turned out to be delicious! We visited the cows afterward, and you can pet the calves and watch the robot milking machines. They give you shoe covers, so no worries about dirt. We enjoyed our time here and would return.More

We absolutely loved this coffee shop. You eat while looking at the cows in the shed and the waffles are a true feast! Must go!

Kaffi Kú is set above a robotic cowfarm and you can view the cows from your seat. The menu was interesting with many options with waffle. I highly recommend Kaffi Kú for people who want to try something different. You can also go into the...farm mert the cows.More

I got a very warm welcome and was surprised for cats and dogs to be allowed. It was nice as I was with my dog and it was a warm day. We sat on the terrasse upstairs, beautiful view. I ordered a waffle with several...toppings , delicious 😋 Had a good time in this animal friendly place. So nice to see the cows walking and enjoying themselvesMore

I went there with my daughter and my mother. Everything was quite dirty. The service was bad. The waitress was very offended that we only wanted coffee and something to eat for my daughter (it was 3pm). The windows to look at the cows were...dirty and made it very unappetizing to eat there. The food my daughter got (a waffle with cheese and ham was tasty though and I can not faul that). There was dust on the walls and the play area was not very pleasant. I was let down since I have been here before a few years ago and it was immaculate then. In comparison to a similar concept, Vogafjós, I have to give this one 2 stars and hope they will improve.More

We really enjoyed our stay on the Farm. They have open for guests to see their cows. The restaurant has a nice view off all the cows and some seriously good waffles. Good service and fair price.

The best service by far. Good food. A+. Thank you. Came in right before closing but there was no rushing and the staff was calm and inviting and made sure we got a little experience though we were right before closing.

Exceptional experience! The food was very good and with dairy cows walking around underneath you the experience was fun and somehow hillbilly’ish in a good way. The host took time to explain about the dairy farm with loads of facts. The food alone is worth...the visit and therefor I most certainly will visit again!More

Great spot. Unlike most places they can actually produce excellent food. There’s a 50% of happy hour from 1500 but we ate at lunchtime. Amazing soup and a really fun eating venue. Not one for the vegetarian crowd but we loved it. Definite stop for...the area. The butter is quite unreal and I’ve never said that before...More

Fresh milk comes from their dairy and used in coffee, milkshakes, cakes, skyr. They also make Hamburgers!!! Tell them you want it well done, though!! mine had pink. Interesting robotic system. Steps up to the cafe, not accessible.

This unique coffee shop in Akureyr is located above a dairy farm. You enjoy your coffee and waffles prior to a tour of an automated milking dairy and visits to the dairy cattle,And calves. There is even a automatic cleaning machine. You can pat and...get up Close to all the cattle. Shoe booties are required to maintain hygiene for the cows.More

It was a stop on our round trip in Iceland. It did not sound exciting first but what a positive surprise! The farm is fully automated, you can visit the cowshed, see the self-serving milking robot, the calf kindergarten and the scratching automate for cows....You are served delicious wafers with cream and the fresh milk. You can buy then hamburgers and soup prepared with the farm’s own beef.More
