Location and contact

The coffehouse is located in the loft above the cow barn at Gardur farm which is the biggest and most automatic cow barn in iceland. Up there you can sit down a look down on the cows going about there daily lives like for example going in to the robot and get milked. And you dont have to worry about not seeing the milking because milking is going on day and night. If you are not intrested in the cows we offer a beautiful view practicly in all directions in our front seeting area. We offer light meals that focuses on using our production the beef and the milk. For example hamburger with our beef mayones, mustard and pickels all made in our kitchen. Stew of the day,Goulash soup, roastbeef bagel

Fresh milk comes from their dairy and used in coffee, milkshakes, cakes, skyr. They also make Hamburgers!!! Tell them you want it well done, though!! mine had pink. Interesting robotic system. Steps up to the cafe, not accessible.

stopped there when heading through Eyjafjörður. My group absolutely loved the cafe and the cows - particularly the "cute department" the calves. Highly reccommendable for warm attitude and good food. 12 points if you are a Eurovision fan

We spend a short break here - enjoyed the coffee, waffles and skyr and watched the cows below the Kaffi. It did not smell as some previous posts stated and we had a sunny, beautiful hour here before we went on on our trip. If...More

I understand that people love the quirky concept of having waffle treats and coffee on top of a cow barn. It is a very cute concept, great use of space and unique, but OMG the smell. I don't understand how anyone can eat anything in...More
