Located downtown Akureyri. This old house is located in the slopy hillside that makes Akureyri so enjoyable. Coffes, breakfast and cakes. You can sit inside or outside if the sun is shining. Recommend the cakes that come in big portions. Lovely place if the sun...is out. Enjoy a quiet drink sitting outside and watch the passerbyers walking through downtown. Good place for kids. Happy hour also :)More

Amazing food at a really good price. Remember that we are in Iceland so its not gonna be cheap. But it offers good food. The menu has almost everything so you have many different choices. I recomend to go there. The personal was friendly.

I came twice. Sunshine midday, lovely staying outdoors. At 18.00 it was colder and I came for happy hour. They put on heat outside and I could enjoy the view of Akureyri while sipping my wine.

As the lockdown is slowly eased here in Iceland we decided to stop here for brunch. It was a warm early summer day with plenty of tables both inside and outside. Waited only 2 minutes to be served and social distancing was strictly observed. Waited...less than 10 minutes for our food. The plate was full, the food was steaming hot and perfectly cooked and presented. Free coffee refills are the norm here. The brunch comes with fruit juice, coffee and a cake (took ours home because we were full). Great central location and a reasonable (for Iceland) price. Staff speak great English and are helpful and pleasant.More

I heard about this place which does the best Coffee in Akureyri. Its near the Habour So I thought I could go there for a coffee before heading to another town. Its a cozy little place with a rustic wooden charm to it. I ordered...a cappuccino with an Icelandic oat cookie. It defintely lives up to its reputation by producing strong Coffee waiting to be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.More

Went at lunch. place is small and it was very crowded and cramped. food took a long time to come and was not hot. young waitress did take it back to kitchen to microwave we expect. Place is quaint like grandmas house style. we found...a nicer place for breakfast for the next 3 days Berlin.More

Hands down the best place in Akureyri for weekend brunch! Delicious food, cozy atmosphere (like grandma’s house). Wide variety of specialty cakes. The owners are kind and hardworking people. Great service every time we go there, no matter how busy it is

My husband and I stayed at a hotel nearby that didn’t offer breakfast so we walked here. The staff were very friendly as soon as we walked in, and we felt welcome right away. Our food came out quickly and our coffee was delicious! It...was perfect for a cool morning. I ordered the waffle and my husband ordered a savory breakfast plate. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommend it. Enjoy!More
