We had the spotted catfish which was the catch of the day, it was a good thing we only ordered 1 dish as the portions were massive. The fish was very fresh and tender and the vegetables were fresh and juicy.

The catch of the day was so tender it definitely melted in your mouth. The salted cod (bacalau) was also tender and had a really good flavor to it combined with a nice olive oil sauce with olives and sun-dried tomatoes. Something special to try if you've never tasted it before! Both dishes also had a nice portion of fresh... More

Noa Seafood creates seafood dishes that I know I will never find again. The food comes out fresh and still sizzling in the pan. Grab your spatula and dig in. Every bite is unique and the flavor combinations are awesome. Highly recommended and my favorite meal of entire trip to Iceland!

Iceland is not a foodie paradise but Noa is one of the rare exceptions with excellent fish servings (though over priced as the case with all Iceland restaurants). Menu changes depending of the catch of the day.

Came here for a late dinner after arriving in Akureyri and the food was great! One of the most memorable in Iceland. I had the spotted catfish and the portions are VERY generous, with a lot of fresh vegetables as well. My friend got a full dinner as well and we struggled to finish our portions, so if you're not... We are "foodies", actually work in the food industry and had higher hopes for this restaurant. We read a lot of reviews that made this restaurant seem appealing. Going back to pulling in to the restaurant, we should've taken note that it was a Friday evening at high peak dinner time and only two cars were parked outside. FOOD ~... More

Wonderful food. Had the Spotted Catfish and it simply melted in the mouth. The restaurant is quiet and cozy and perfect for a nice quiet dinner.

We just had dinner at the Noa Seafood restaurant and had such a great time there. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated. The waiters were smiling and welcoming. On the menu, which was not very long, there was a choice of 4 appetizers and about 8 entrees, but it was enough choice to please everybody! My husband and... More

After a week of eating fish soup, stew, fried, poached and whatever. This really hit the spot. They were already clearing out for the nigh by when we got here. But what an amazing show of food. Kudos to the chef. What a creative way to dress the fish. With honey and capers on the trout. And the pepper cream... More

The fish was really fresh and serviced on the pan it was cooked in. The trout I ordered literally just arrived from the farm before they cooked it - I know this because originally they told me it hasn't arrived yet so I ordered something else and then the waiter came back 10 minutes later informing me the trout had...
