Located downtown. Award winning chef. Fine dining place. Good variety in the menu. Well presented dishes. Efficient service. Can be a bit noisy at dinner.

We had an incredible meal here - the food was insane and there was so much choice. Service was good and we managed to get a table without a reservation. Highly recommend and would definitely return if we are in the area.

Whatever you do: Do not leave Akureyri without trying to get a table/meal at this restaurant. Best food, best waitors, best wine, best experience. I have been comming to Iceland for 45 years. This is a huge positive surprise! And I really enjoy good wine,...good dining all over the world. I travel to countries just to dine at good restaurants. Still I will remember this.More

We were 9 friends that had reservation at nine pm. Did not get the main course until 10:30 pm and the place had literally closed down when we finally got the desert! To top it off they forgot one of the main course for one...of the guys. Food was good and the service ok when they showed up at the table. Keep in mind this is not by any means an affordable restaurant.More

Me and my wife went on a date there. Ordered a extreme sushi dinner. We ordered a selection of Rub23 most popular sushi and sashimi. A surprising journey through the sushi kitchen that ended with a good desert. The sushi was so good, I loved...every bit of it. The dessert was a chocolate cake with caramel sauce and vanilla icecream on the side. Highly recommend. One of the top restaurant in Akureyri.More

Simply the best seafood and sushi in Akureyri and also marvelous steaks. We dine there at least four times a year. The christmas menu last year... mmm, still watering our mouth. Everything great and still no disappointments after all these years.

We were part of a larger group and the vegetarian main course was awful.. also like 45 min to get some sauce since they didn’t bother to serve their dry veggie patties with any sauce.

The food was very good. We had sushi and steak. The service was very poor. This ís not a cheap restaurant.

Yes, the place is expensive, but all good restaurants in Iceland are expensive. We ordered the tuna starter and it came with fresh wasabi grated table side. The lamb was so succulent and tender that it melted in your mouth. We also ordered the steak,...which too was amazing. The rub they use (hence the name) is great.More

Japanese restaurant with a huge menu. I had salmon, grilled according to a Japanese traditional method, and my son had some variations of sushi. The food was excellent but very expensive, even for icelandic standards.

We had a very nice dinner here although the service was a bit slow. The meal and drinks were very good.
