Went to have something basic for lunch after a very disappointing dinner. The train moved slow and some dishes had obviously done a lot of turns. A long train ride indeed. But what struck was that there wete no real sushi plates. Yes, lots of...teriyaki vhicken and deep fried spring rolls. But that is not sushi. Even the dishes purportedly sushi, e g the sliced prawn and the rare roll, were strange, and the sushi rice was anything but sushi. So, if you are the owner of the sushi corner in Akureyri, take the trip of your lifetime and go to Japan for a few months. Ok, even a week might help a lot. Three days?More

my first time and the sushi was really good. This was a takeout, but the restaurant looked really good. Will definitely go again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Akureyri. You can eat right away. The food is already on the table. You just pick what you like.

Large variety, fresh and tasty. Fair pricing. Great location - close to the parking. Very recommended.

A fun place to visit and to get some sushi. This is a belt served a version of a sushi place. They do have different deals where you can pick whatever you want not needing to pay attention to what color the plate has. Actually,...quite a cheap way to get full for a very reasonable amount of money.More

We enjoyed choosing our sushi off the moving belt. Lots of basics-salmon, shrimp, tuna on rice. I liked that they kept the sushi and rice smaller size, easier to get in your mouth. There was also some shrimp tempura. Not too many exciting rolls but...each small plate you chose was $4. Can't beat that. Of course, you could eat about ten small plates. They also had dessert on the belt. Variety of cakes. There is no menu and you can also take carry out.More

Wauw, this place offers very affordable sushi. I must say as a vegan I always shy away from running sushi as there is almost never anything vegan, but when I asked the very friendly cashier if there was anyway I could maybe order some for...my table, she answered happily that they could put it on the running sushi table and separate them by putting them on the green plates they have. Amazing service!More

I like sushi but it has to be fresh, good tasting and appetizing. They meet all these demands and whats more they have extra good sauces to go with it, sweet and sour and a sweet dark one that I cant remember the name. Look...forward to come again.More

Cozy restaurant with ok staff, but different type of sushi - same taste -> disapointing. If you really like sushi doesnt worth for the money

Excellent sushi, and the lunch offer is great! For a wheelchair user, though, the train tables are NOT accessible, but I found a way to get around it. I just sat at the end of the train table and reached to get the sushi I...wanted. I let the staff know of this problem, but nothing has happened yet.More
