It's the #1 place in Akureyri which is one of the bigger cities in Iceland. But big is, well a small sized place. The food on the other hand can compare with restaurants in bigger places. We had lunch on a summer and sunny day....Christmas shopping (Santa's House, 5 miles from Akureyri) still on our mind. So a happy and nice experience.More

Booked a table for 4 adults and two children for special occasion. Disappointed when the first course arrived . It ordered duck legs but it was shredded duck. I asked the waiter and she tried to explained it but not very well. We had than...to wait a while for next course. It was okay but not what we expected because we had heard good things. When we paid, my husband told them about the things we were not happy about. We did not get any response from the waiter’s. Hope we were just unlucky about the food. But not happy how the waiters answered us.More

Had the most delicius three course dinner (set menu), starting with lobster sushi (and I am even not that fond of sushi but this one was great), then grilled salmon and finally sweet desert, Highly recommend.

I went for dinner with my grandmother and her friend. We had a three course meal and wine and everything tasted amazing. The first course was sushi, which the older women have never been fans of but even they loved it! The main course and...dessert were equally good. My grandmother goes there every time she visits Akureyri and absolutely loves it. The price was extremely fair and the staff super polite and attentive.More

Prime location overlooking the harbour and across the water. Service was professional and pretty quick, although we did get there a little before the dinner rush. The food was good, but not great. Hamburger was a little on the dry side. The chicken breasts were...however, very tender and juicy. Mains and two beers ended up being about the average price for dinner in the area. I don’t know if I’d go back, might be somewhere with a bit more personality.More

8 of us turned up without a reservation on a Friday night. Luckily we were early and they found us room. All of our meals were superb. It's not a cheap restaurant but definitely worth the money. The restaurant became very busy later on but...the staff coped well.More

Dont go there if you're hungry. Went there with my family for 2 hours and the food we ordered did not even get to us in the last 30min so we left there hungry..

In September 2014, there was nothing vegetarian on the menu (don't know about gluten free). Chef did fix a vegetarian pasta dish (so not gluten free), that was quite tasty.
