Ever since I was a kid, I have loved this place with all my heart. The best pizzas in the world and you can have pretty much anything else as well. The service is normally great and the food quality also. The ideal mid-range place....More

It's a nice and cozy place. If you want to have a dinner during weekend, my recommendation is to reserve a table, because it gets pretty crowded. We had only 2 vegan options from the menu, pizza and "the Green greifinn" (grilled vegetables). Pizza was...More

I expected downtown Akureyri to be more urban and busy. Our mini-bus turned into this resto's parking lot. It was probably the most attractive resto I saw in Akureyri. Inside the resto has a generic feel of a better coffee house. We were given a...More

Haven’t been to this restaurant for a few years and this time was a bit disappointing! Pizzas are usually very good but my husbands burger was not great. Overcooked, cold bernaise and cold fries - and it’s expensive!!! Greifinn has become overrated, doubt I will...More

We stopped here for the night. The lobster soup was excellent and well needed after a long day of traveling and the cold snap that appeared on our trip. The side dish was bread and an olive tapenade. The olive mix was delicious. I ended...More

Not bad prices (for Iceland) and the food we ordered was delicious. I ordered an appetizer as my main course and it was plenty, so that helped with price too. Service was also great. Also, if you happen to have kids with you, there’s a...More

Prices seemed high but then all prices seem high in Iceland! Food was as ordered and everyone in our group seemed satisfied. Wait staff was good, they let us split our meal and served on two plates without extra fee. Food came out in good...More

Description
Greifinn is without doubt one of the most popular restaurant in Akureyri . The menu is varied and the prices are moderate. Greifinn is ideal for individuals, groups and families that want to relax over food and drink. We make a point of running a family-friendly restaurant. A diverse menu is on offer with a wide choice of meat and fish courses as well as pasta and some of the most highly praised pizzas in Iceland.
