Fantastic warm starters & shared a sushi assortment for the main. Fresh, cool sake paired very well with the meal. The waiter provided excellent service & food came to the table pretty quickly despite the restaurant being full. Highly recommend for an authentic Japanese experience.

Having traveled several Times in Japan, I have to recommend this tiny restaurant in The Heart of Tampere ! Service was extremely friendly and their yakitori skewers were great! Edamame were not too salty and nigiries were fresh from kitchen. They have real Japanese chefs...here, So you do not need to sorry about The quality of ingredients. No sushi buffet here ! I have been eating lunch several times in Fujimi and it has never disappointed me. Rice is boiled perfectly and sea products are very fresh. All the flavor combinations are well thought and serving is also beautiful. Cannot recommend more!

Mostly the sushi you find served in Finnish restaurants is mediocre, or at best acceptable, and the market focuses on all-you-can-eat buffets. For some reason, Tampere has for some time featured two excellent á la carte service sushi restaurants, much better than anything I have...eaten elsewhere in the country. Now we have a third one, and all in the same town! Fujimi surprised me with a well thought-out selection of vegetarian sushi (which can be ordered as a vegan version). The champignon and the zucchini nigiri had delicate roasted flavour coupled with the house herb sauce. The maki rolls had carrot cooked just right, so the distinctive sweet aroma comes out without losing the texture. The inari sushis were as they are at their best, the perfect dessert. i will definitely return here for a full dinner, since the starters sounded interesting, especially the spicy edamames with miso!More

The sushi has a golden ratio of fresh fish and rice. You can also taste some real Japanese cuisines! The Finnish-Japanese owner is very gentle and the lady staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere, the Staff, the dishes all were outstanding! As I learned the chef and the staff been replaced recetntly directly from Japan, so they are not yet ruined by the nordic/finnish influence in the method of style, and no matter the place exist for...longer time, but their commitement and extitement is above even the japanese average, gives you the feeling that this is a brand new restaurant (practically it is), doing their best to make themselves acknowleded. In my opinion, they've earned it. I would not say it is worth a try, I must say it is must have to try!More

Usually sushi in Finland is arranged in Finnish style, but here the taste is closer to Japanese. Especially, l loved the quality of rice. Service was also friendly and nice. I hope this new restaurant gets bigger. Enjoyed very much, thank you!
