What a beautiful environment to have tea and cake. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We had both beautiful tea and delicious cakes to have with our tea. There was a range of tea related gifts and supplies that were good value and well...chosen. It was a perfect place to sit, enjoy and relax in, on a dull November day. I imagine it is somewhere very special in Summer.More

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS - YES Private room for party of 15 (no charge for the room) NO muzak Despite going to view and smell the teas available, the women in the party all selected the same green tea (jasmine) and the men all chose the same...black tea (whisky). As organiser of the party, it was a no brainer to go for the set menu of €12 per person - 2 sandwiches, 2 scones with jam and cream, 4 small cakes + choice of tea. Interestingly the set menu for vegans is €2 cheaper. €138 for 12 people By comparison, I organised an English tea party the following day in Salutorget, Helsinki for 9 people at a cost of €220.More

I went to Teeleidi with my friend to enjoy an afternoon of tea and cakes (and colouring our colouring books!). We were greeted by a friendly lady who happened to be the owner of the place and who immediately recommended us her favourite teas. We...decided to taste two kinds of black tea, which were both absolutely delicious!! We also ordered a piece of raspberry chocolate mousse cake, which was good. In Teeleidi, you can buy tea for yourself and I did just that. They also have a wide selection of sweet treats, from which I chose heart shaped pieces of salty liquorice (I’m Finnish so it was the obvious choice). The service was quick and friendly, and we even got appreciative comments on our colouring books! We felt very welcome to visit the place again - and we definitely will!More

If you ever visit Jyväskylä, Teeleidi is a must. The tea house is definately one of the most charming tea houses in Finland. It is not expensive, you'll get a tea pot for 2-4 people with approx. 8 euros. And if you like to try...English afternoon tea, it is served from Tuesdays to Fridays at 14-18 o'clock, it costs 12euros (14euros gluten free). Teeleidi is very popular place, so if you are many, I recommend to book a table beforehand. Highly recommended, do not miss this!More

A last tea session before I leave Finland. Tea flavours were wonderful and the tower snacks, salty and sweet bites delicious!

This an absolutely nice place to sit down for a nice cup of tea. It is just a 2 minute walk from the university- old campus- and in a very quiet neighbourhood. You will have a big variety of teas to choose and different sweets...to supplement your tea with. Prices are very reasonable and staff is quite helpful. The cranbury and french teas are well recommended.More

I've heard so much good about this tea shop many, many times and it was as great as I was told. The building is so cosy, but you can also enjoy your tea outside in summer. There are plenty of different teas available, at least..."Pink Dreams" is recommended. One tea pot of Pink Dreams was 7 euros. In addition, you can also have some cakes and sandwiches there together with tea. Highly recommended, I definitely go back there!More

This is unique location, great atmosphere and delicious tea with cakes or salty pies. English afternoon tea is a treat. It is only served a couple times of week, but is worth having. Fresh scones with jam and cream....

Visited first time at this small tearoom and were positively surprised. There is quite large variety of teas where from you can choose the one you want to drink or buy along. Good cakes are also available. Friendly service and nicely renovated space.

This is an unique tearoom in Jyväskylä, located in an old, beautiful wooden house, built 1904. This house used to be the recidency of the mayor of Jyväskylä. Go and enjoy the atmosphere, whether you like tea or not! There is every sort of tea...available, be sure to buy some to take home with you.More
