This is a true gem in Lahti. Best stake in town. Even if you don't normally eat red meat, here you need to try!

Place is a bit dated but looks traditional Spanish inside. Entrance steps not great. Service efficient and friendly. Had a wonderful seafood soup and a nice steak so all good with the food. Tapas dishes at other tables did not look anything special. Wine was also nice and, for Finland, good value! Lahti is not overburdened with good restaurants so... More

Close to the center of the city this restaurant is a good choice. We had chicken and liver and both tasted great! Salad as starter was average but very fresh. Lot of choices in the menu, mainly of meats of course. Price level is somewhat high for the local comparison. Atmosphere is somewhat 70's Spanish but decoration is bit dull... More

Restaurant is quite old and very much used for business dinners. The speciality pfeffer stake is worth to try. It is served right from the hot sizzling pan.

This restaurant has good reputation in Lahti, but I was really disappointed last time I visited the restaurant. The tapas plate was just basic frozen fast food fried and cold cuts from the fridge. Not worth the price. The best thing is the sauces are always good. The main dish is quite mediocre, but the gravy makes it better. I... More

I inderstood that this a the place in Lahti, if you like to eat good steak. Well I cannot agree that. Well maybe ok steaks and some dishes. However overall, quite poor. We ordered tapas plate at first. Well that was most poor I ever seen. Ao small, and things were like directly from local supermarket, vacuum like stuff. Beef... More

I have never understood the success of this restaurant - the atmosphere is vague and the food is average. I have followed my friends there several times and every time it has not positively supprised me. I'm not a real beef eater, so maybe that's the reason.

A traditional, tired-looking steak restaurant with uneven food and unenthusiastic, classic Finnish-style service. I had an outstanding fish soup followed by a main dish and a dessert that could have been prepared by the kitchen of a local gas station. Maybe one can navigate here more enjoyably through the dinner with some local assistance for making educated choices of menu... More

A traditional steak place which has been quite long in Lahti. Good quality food and nice service. We liked it.

El Toro is a traditional Spanish restaurant in Lahti. They serve excellent food, very tasty. Their beef is superb.
