Pleasant lunch

After 12-kilometer sightseeing by foot, we had lunch on the terrace of this centrally located restaurant next to Market Square. The order was to be made at the bar counter on the terrace. There was no service inside the restaurant which is located in a beautiful building. The food was brought to the table. My chicken burger was tasty. My partner was not as enthusiastic about his halloumi salad.

Nice place in the center of the city.

On Saturday evening , 🦇🦇🦇 we found excellent service and great food. ❤️ Compliments to the waitress the wine was very good and the service was also friendly and fast.👍 Compliments also go to the kitchen large portion and very tasty ,👍 The price was below average. I also recommend it to others. We had a lovely evening.❤️ Thanks

Delicious Hispanic food

Restaurant Santa Fe is situated on the 2nd floor. The interior is quite cozy. There is a bar with snack menu at street level. In summer they also have a terrace at street level. Both salads, fajitas, hamburgers, tofu, fish, pasta, chicken, skewers, pork ribs, lamb fillet and pepper steaks are available. They also have a separate kids' menu with funny named portions. We visited restaurant Santa Fe at lunch time but we didn't choose their lunch options. We ordered from their á la carte menu. At lunch time also á la carte portions include the salad buffet, which is quite good. We enjoyed our portions very much. They both looked and tasted good. Very delicious!

Went for evening snack - Escargots and Nachos. Below average. The snails actually were good but the bread was stale and not toasted so does not fit for the dish. The nachos were from some industrial "bag" and worse - salsa and guacamole not made in-house but clearly yet again from a "bag". The restaurant is famed for being there for over 30 years and has never changed, please step up your game.

We had this place recommended by a colleague and it turned out to be a fantastic tip. The halloumi salad starter was very tasty and well portioned, then the veggie burger for main was excellent. One of the best Veggie option burgers I’ve ever had. Staff were all very friendly and the price reasonable. I would highly recommend!

Spice and Nice in the Centre of Lahti

The restaurant accommodated a group of us fairly late on. The range was good and the dessert was excellent. The staff were friendly and able to corral us very well!

We had a quick lunch here. Ordered some beef tacos and a salmon dish from their lunch menu (forgot the name). I add picture for that. All food was ok, but that’s about it. Price value was ok. Santa Fe is sort of dime a dozen texmex place, which could be anywhere. The positive part is that you likely get roughly what you are expecting. 3 stars for food.

Good, basic food with spicy twist. I had nachos for starter and beef fajitas for main. Not a fancy restaurant but tasty. Prices ok.

A nice central place with solid portion sizes

This place isn't that fancy restaurant where you get so small dishes that you just get angry. Here even the starters with nachos plus meat were the size of a main dish. What's even more the place has the best opening hours for restaurants in Lahti.

When you're ravenous and tired

All you want is food and fast! We asked recommendation from hotel reception and only criteria was near location and something for everyone. Santa Fe is located centrally by the marketplace and on 2nd floor. If you have to wait for a table the pub on 1st floor is convenient. Nicely furnished relaxed athmosphire and friendly staff. Mexican food but also steaks, salads and chicken dishes. Waiter was helpful with allergies and food restrictions. Big portions, fast service (without the feeling of rushing).

Best Restaurant around the market Square in Lahti

Burgers, steaks, vegetarian... they are all served in here, and it is tasty. This time the house burger and the vegetarian flat bread were really good. We got even a decent service despite some big groups being served at the same time.

Been here several times over the last ten years. Has never disappointed. I enjoyed a very good house burger last nightas did my friends. We all agreed it was excellent. Well used by the locals before venturing out for the night life which is a good recommendation. Pricey by UK standards but the Euro/£ exchange rate would be primarily to blame. Will happily return. Toilets a bit grubby but OK.

Tässä ravintolassa tulee lähes poikkeuksetta otettua Mombo Combo alkuun ja pääruoka itselläni on useimmiten pekoni-juusto hampurilainen tupla koossa. On loistava setti, jolla saa nälän pois :) In this restaurant I prefer to have Mombo Combo on start and double bacon-cheese burger. Great meal and you are not hungry after having this :)
