Luckily on our trip to Helsinki the weather was stunning so there was an array of outside seating. It’s by a canal, so it’s very tranquil and calming.
The inside is typical of a pub/bar but they have a lot of beers to chose from as well as different spirits if that’s more your tipple. The toilets were also very clean and tidy.
There were a lot of locals, that didn’t phase us but we thought it must have been good if the locals are there.
Overall, a decent place to have a few drinks. But it’s a bit of walk from the city centre.

Brilliant selection of beers, with a stupendously knowledgeable and friendly owner - has great stories to tell about the beers on tap, from the 7% house IPA brewed to their own recipe to the Belgian beer that is only sold to them outside the village in which it is brewed. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this small pub. It felt it was a pub where locals drank and the bar staff were very friendly to visitors. They had a nice range of craft beer- worth the visit

The pub's not much from the outside - it looks a bit like a corner shop. Inside is a slightly ramshackle 'boozer'; a carefully curated blend of tired furniture, old posters and a 'baggy ambience' that combine to create a pleasant down-at-heel feel. It's a local with a grumpy barman and it's not expensive, either.
If you want posh then turn away; if, however, you like a little local character this place might just be for you.

Privately owned, proper beer lovers' bar with a 110% focus on craft beer.
The place isn't much to look at, and you'd be easily forgiven for taking this for the usual neighborhood dive bar. But step inside and prepare to be blown away by the range & selection of beers — both on tap and in the three massive fridges. Private imports keep both options well-stocked with some genuine rarities from around the world. I hear the taps have some of the quickest turn-over rates in town, so you're bound to be surprised to see new brilliant beers on the list. The prices aren't bad at all, considering this is a craft beer joint at hear.
The owners, who are much involved in the craft beer circles in Finland and abroad, are often behind the bar.
The place has that "everybody knows everybody" feeling, cozy, home-like, and definitely with a lot more charisma compared to the high-street bars just half a mile from here.
Plenty of board games are available, and there's live music about once a month, too.
There's some food available, too, but this isn't a place you go to eat to. I first came here on a whim, and have found myself returning again and again. For the bravo echo echo romeo.

Loved this place and they have a good selection of beer. I was slightly dispointed when a beer cost 9,50 on tap for full pint and half pint cost 6€.

So, the best beer bar in Helsinki is THIS, period. There are other good bars, you’ll read about them, visit because they are convenient, etc, but, honestly, this is the best bar. You don’t come here for food. You don’t come here because other tourist found it. You come here if you want to...quietly, politely drink while people from Helsinki drink. If that’s not your thing, find another bar. Thanks and don’t be an obnoxious tourist, please.

Last bar before we headed for the ferry port: this is a great, fun bar.
Full of people enjoying a very wide selection of beers in an appropriate way. Not too raucous, but very friendly and welcoming.
Like a really good British Local.

Was only in Helsinki for two nights but managed to visit this bar both nights. Firstly on my own while waiting for colleague's to arrive in town, whilst we all went there for a night cap on the second night. On both visit the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend visiting if you like good beer a venue with character. This a real local and not a plastic clone.

This is really one of the best places for a beer in Helsinki. This place isn't too big, but you usually find a seat. Also one special mention that their pints are pints, which isn't always the way in Finland.

Small but confy pub that has nice beer selection from different countries and styles. Summer time there is also outside place where you can enjoy the sun. Live band and are only in certain events.

The selection of beers is good. I would go as far as to say it is in top3 of all craft beer places in Helsinki. The place is a bit off the beaten track, in the foundation of a residential building.
Clientele seem to be largely locals who know each other and are not ashamed of getting hammered in the company one another. This might make the place feel a bit unwelcoming. If you are willing mingle with the locals, the place is worth a visit.
As far as I can tell, there was no food being served.
