This restaurant has great ambiance and very personable staff. The food is great but the wine list is limited.

This restaurant is on the ground floor of Hotel Klaus K. in the centre of Helsinki. Excellent for those staying there and well worth looking for if you are staying elsewhere. Italian food at its best - the pumpkin ravioli and the duck-leg confit can be highly recommended. I had both lunch and dinner there in the same day -... More

My last night at Klaus K i tried toscanini, it was snowing outside. I had: leek butter and bread beetroot ravioli with brie cheese tiramisu with a scoop of vanilla ice cream coffee I spent €39.50 Raviolis were ok. the difficulty with cooking them is the edges of the raviolis. it has to be soft not hard. it's a trick... We were four persons having a three course dinner on a Sunday late afternoon. We were all very happy with everything. As starters we had mixed antipasti, including San Daniele prosciutto, which is the absolutely best of its kind, Vitello tonnato, where the calf meat was both tender and very juicy, and pasta with tiger prawns, which is a favorite... As I visited this place with a great friend during the Christmas holidays I will have to say I was impressed!.. It is quite elegant and has interesting dishes. During the holiday they also had season dishes which often changes keeping things interesting. This place is great for everyone but commonly attracted couples. As we started off with assorted fresh... More

Please read my profile for my biases. I had been traveling for over 30 straight hours when I got to the Klaus K and I wanted nothing more than a light supper, a hot bath and a very long nap. It was sleeting outside so it was nice to be able to access the Toscanini from the hotel. It was... More

Stayed at Klaus K on business last week. Several colleagues and I needed to work from a conference room at the hotel and ordered dinner from the Toscanini which is attached to the Klaus K. This is a good choice instead of the hotel main restaurant or room service Overall the was very good. Two of us had the pumpkin... More

Toscanini is an Italian restaurant at the first floor of hotel Klaus Kurki. The place is popular during weekend evenings, so a reservation is recommended. The menu includes starters, a selection of pastas and risottos and main courses. I and my partner shared an antipasto as a starter, and took lamb and spicy scambi pasta as main course. We took... We really enjoyed this Italian place. The wild boar ragu was so good my son ordered another. Bread with truffle butter was also really good. Great dinner option for a family.
