Nice quesadilla

Visited here on a short trip to Helsinki. I had chicken quesadilla which tasted nice and was just spicy enough for me and a local beer. The service was fairly quick and the food was good. It was quite a busy restaurant with quite a younger average client and seemed like a place younger Fins visit. A nice friendly place to eat.

Great place, open late, for delicious food, cocktails and good selection of both bottled and draft beer. Convenient location and friendly staff too.

Love the food in Iguana! Drinks are more on the expensive side, but definitely recommend stopping for dinner if there are tables available. It's always crowdy, but the atmosphere is great.

Wife ordered Nachos. They do NOT come with cheese?!? Literally google defines Nachos as: nachos /ˈnatʃəʊz/ Learn to pronounce noun a dish of tortilla chips topped with melted cheese and often also with other savoury toppings. I ordered the pizza. Something was seriously weird about the sauce and after eating a slice (that u have to cut yourself with a steak knife) I found a hair. I do NOT recommend

The worst customer service ever!

I went to get drinks with my friends on a saturday night. We had to ask twice to get the table to be cleaned since it was sticky and filthy. The waiter barely cleaned a third of our table and was rude. The music was so loud at the restaurant that I couldn't hear what the person next to me was saying. I went to ask kindly for the music to be turned a bit down and the waitress was RUDE and told me "You can leave the restaurant if it bothers you so much"... When I returned to the table the heavy rock music was clearly adjusted even louder. We had to leave because our eardrums were hurting after 2 hours of being inside the restaurant. Clearly the waiters do not care for the customers experience and do not even bother to be nice to them. Never going back there again!!

The quesadilla and burrito were really awful. A poor imitation of Mexican cuisine. We paid 45 euros for that and a couple of beers. I would storm out if anything else around here was open this late...

I don’t know what to think, this used to be my favorite place for great drinks five years ago. I remembered their frozen strawberry margarita whole heartedly as the best drink ever tasted. Now, returning, I felt disappointment walking in. Interior was tired, board games worn out, to much light = no coziness. I ordered some plate with a lot of starters (some Large version) and that was not so very tasty, or let’s say, not worth the price! Then of course frozen strawberry margarita. But something was missing, maybe the soul of the place. And don’t get me wrong, I had the best company possible and the kids were well behaved so no “outside”-effects made me feel a bit mixed up with this place. Short version: Pay a visit if you have to but there’s sure better places near by (I guess).

Order at Bar- carry your own drinks. Typical bar food.

My family of 4 visited in July 2019 after a long flight from Barcelona. We were looking for something easy after a long trip and in a new country to us. The staff were reasonably friendly, but one has to walk up to the bar to order food and drinks at a cash register, and then carry drinks back to the table oneself, and wait for food to be delivered to your table (with flag/# ) at your table. This is a struggle when one is tired and the restaurant is crowded, making several trips back and forth from the bar to one's table, and then forgetting silverware and napkins etc. The food is decent, including burgers and nachos, but fairly typical bar fare (think "Fridays" or "Applebees" with a Finnish accent), and nothing really to write home about. Moderately pricey, for quality of food. The place seemed mostly filled with locals, not tourists, which was a plus (if one likes to absorb language/customs), and was clean and well kept on the day we visited. Overall very edible and in a good location. Just nothing I would actively search out for a second visit.

We arrived late Helsinki, and looked for a restaurant. Iguana was one of few restaurant open in the downtown. We experienced finnish style cosy/warm atmosphere there, liked king prawn salad and local beer. Unfortunately, Pizza Iguana could not meet our expectation. Service was satisfactory at taht time.

Not so bad considering the acceptable prices and in the heart of town If someone complain about pasta please remember that pasta must be eaten in Italy not in finland. Good service and good bear. Better than choise a mexican course.

Terrible carbonara

Worst carbonara of my life. It took them 5 min to bring to the table and taste was accordingly bad. Small dish probably warmed in microwave.. disappointed.

Just a pizza

Not good, not bad. Here you can get a pizza if you need something to eat and you don't like to pay too much. Cons goes to the kitchen because the restaurant was almost empty and it took half an hour to get the pizza.
