El Greco is rather a spacious restaurant with a classic Greek interior. The food was quite good and the service was friendly and flexible. We were satisfied with our selection of different small appetizers, moussaka and lamb chops as well as wines recommended by our servant.

Lovely warm feeling with all the candles and friendly staff. Visited with my boyfriend on Valentine's day. We had the Valentine's day menu which was a good surprise. Very reasonable price for three tasty courses. Dessert was amazing! Highly recommended.

The greek "El Greco" restaurant in Helsinki is stylish and elegant but if the place is deserted it makes for a boring, almost cold, atmosphere - in spite of the too loud greek music. On a Thursday night there were guests at only two other tables. Having said that our waiter was both kind and efficient, the menu is easily... More

The restaurant is very popular during weekends so it's s good idea to reserve a table in advance. They have a wide menu with both chicken, meat and fish dishes. If you can't deside what to eat, choose the greek mixed grill platter for two, then you get the best of everything. Nice atmosphere, great staff and very reasonable pricing.... More

The food was good, tasty and portion size was just right. The atmosphere was also pleasant. The service was a little slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The staff were friendly, though.

Me and my collegue went here on a Friday. We started with two starters, grilled king praws and the real greek sallad. Both were fresh and tasted really well. Great olives in the sallad. For main course we had chicken brest fillet and sea bass which was also very nice. We tried two different Greek wines, both decent, but nothing... More

Excellent choice when you grave for the good quality Greek cooking. We visited with a big family, and all from a 2-year old grand-son to 87-year old Grand-grand Mom were happy with the meal and service.

Had lunch here with a group of 8. My starter never arrived. No bread was offered. Chicken souvlaki had no flavor and it was only barely cooked through. No reason to visit again anytime soon.

At El Greco we take you on a journey to the Eastern Mediterranean archipelago. Our food does not just represent your average Greek cuisine with its lovely olive oil and rich moussaka. Sure, you'll get the best tzatziki and the most delicious lamb in town from us, but our philosophy goes beyond that. This fall brings in a breathe of fresh air with a refined a la carte. Start off with the Mighty Meze compiling some of the best Greek small appetizers to be shared. For something totally new, try out our two completely new starters - the Octapus and the Tartar. Both bring together three distinct flavor components to form quite something unique. For the main dishes you'll find traditional flavors all over, be it the moussaka or the delicately delicious lamb chops. For a lighter palette we cater with fresh salads and archipelagic fish as well as the Mytilini pasta. Feel free to act Greek and top off everything with our three mouthwatering dips that go all the way. Surely enough, we serve some of the best Greek wines but also great international varieties. You can get things started with a glass of Ouzo - it's a magical elixir of life! Kaliorexi!
