Café Lov is a nice café with a German touch. Reasonably priced for Helsinki standards. They have German specialities like Apfelstrudel and Flammkuchen. Their salmon with oven root vegetables (12 €) is delicious. Might get crowded during lunchtime.
We wanted to have lunch at Cafe LOV on a normal weekday. The kitchen was almost out of chicken which was what one of us wanted to have. The waitress said they could add some falafels to the meal to make it more filling.
This place promises a lot as somewhere to get something a bit different. Unfortunately the terrible customer service from the owner means it fails to deliver on the potential. During ordering we were met with abruptness about the options available at lunch which are not...More
For me new brunch place. Found it while driving around looking for an open restaurant for a Sunday breakfast.Price is really good and they have good selection gluten free and vegan food.
Very nice place! It seems that local people like it. Food was excellent - Flammkuchen resemble pizza but instead of cheese you have soure cream. Desserts are extremely tasty as well. There are some goods from Germany as coffee beans and cookies.
Very nice and quiant, a small café with German touch. Many different Flammkuchen and Kuckucksuhr clocks for sale. The waitress extremely friendly too and she spoke good German. Definitely a recommendation!
Flammkuchen are prominently presented on the meny, but luckily also other vegan/vegetarian dishes are served. I went for the warm plate with some salmon and the plate was plentiful with tasty warm and cold ingredients. Perhaps also Flammkuchen without milk products could be made available?...More
Visited Cafe Lov twice in two days during a business trip. On the first day I enjoyed a faboulous pizza, that was probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. It was thin and had a supernice crust. The following day I chose...More
We had coffee, soup, and spicy flammkuchen. Everything was great, but we will certainly return for the flammkuchen! It was a perfect mix of fresh and smoky, with perfectly crispy crust. The man at the counter, whom I presume to be the owner, was very...More
Very good flambé, like in Elsas 👍
The menu is big enough for everyone, my favourite is although the traditional one
Small cozy, friendly place
Probably the only right flambé place in HELSINKI or even in Finland
I recommend to try it
Sehr gut 😊
