We stumbled across this restaurant after visiting the local market.
This place is fantastic, a great welcome, a happy environment and the steak was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The garlic potatoes were amazing and the beer was going down a treat.
With...the wood burner keeping you warm and the food being so good, don’t hesitate to go.
We liked it that much, we went back a few nights later.More
Ex tempore late dinner with friends and it turned out to be really good. Moodful place, good service and splendid food. Even a cook who was part of our party was praising the food. Definitely worth the visit.
This cosy place is a must for anyone who would like to try delicious and authentic food, while sitting in a beatifully decorated real sailing boat and being pampered by lovely waiters, who are friendly, professional and attentive, but never intrusive. Everything was as it...should be or even better!More
It was a cold March evening. We (a group of 22 people) had a three hours private dinner at Puosun Kellari. Ship is old. It was warm if you sat close fireplace. There were one chef and two hosts. Excellent service! I had dill salted...salmon for appetizer, Finnish whitefish for main course and ice cream for dessert. Food was fantastic! Very nice experience in Helsinki.More
great little restaurant in the belly of an old ship. Small, very authentic old decor still inside. It was a bit cold because we were seated away from the stove but otherwise very comfortable. The waiter was lovely guy and food was delicious. Not much...choice for the wine but was very good and atmosphere was very chilled, defo worth a trip.More
We loved this restaurant located on board the old ship “Katherina”. The service was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was interesting and fun, and best of all, the food was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyable.
We were very pleased that we booked this restaurant for the second night of our mother/daughters city break. The setting is so unique and cosy, you will not be disappointed. Some lovely traditional dishes - we all enjoyed the food a lot. Our host, Jori...was extremely friendly and helpful and took the time to share some great tips for the rest of our break. Thank you for that! Mo, Ginny and AlexMore
Great place with an interesting menu, good service and great food. An authentic location - dinner on board a boat with spacious comfy seats, a log burner and cosy atmosphere. Enjoyable dinning experience
We boarded into this ship. Katherina is the name of the vessel where this cosy restaurant is in.
Very tasty soup and nice welcoming. We were there for the first time but not the last.
They operate till the end of March and move away...for the spring and summer. So we will ho again before that.More
