Fuchka claims to be the only Bangladeshi style restaurant in Finland. I hadn't ever had Bangladeshi food before but I was pleasantly surprised by their lunch deal both pricewise and tastewise. For only €10.90, you get a salad, main course and dessert, bundled with drinks of course. For the main course I had chicken-vegetable chotpoti. I thought it was delicious and although it was a bit spicy, it luckily wasn't enough to burn my mouth. I'd definitely recommend you to visit this place if you want to try something exquisite and unique. This place is totally worth at least 4 stars!

We got the vegetarian fuchkas, fish fuchkas, tomato soup and fuchka soup. The dishes and flavors were delighfully different from what we're used to having at restaurants in Finland. All of the food was good, the vegetarian fuchkas were especially good, and the fuchka soup was "Wow!" It was very flavorful--the perfect mix of tangy, spicy, and savory.
All of the foods (including salad, dessert, coffee etc.) were surprisingly good and we were both quite full when we left. Good value for less than 11€/person for lunch. Service and facilities were also good. I only have good things to say about this place! :)

The food was a very unique and delicious experience at a great price. The staff is warm and hospitable, they really made sure that we had the best possible experience. I recommend Fuchka whole heartedly to anyone who is looking for a nice date.

Once again based on a recommendation to eat, it didn't disappoint this time either.
From the outside, it looked a bit like the place might be closed, the building's repair work was getting blurry. A quiet early evening, others probably also thought the restaurant was closed.
I took the combo with tomato soup and bread. The food was really tasty and good. Special mention to the bread as the soup's companion, awesome.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

What an unespected surprise! Looked for a quick lunch passing though Oulu on the open square summer version of this restaurant. Tried the fuchka and we loved it so much that we had to come back again for dinner some days later. Not fancy (paper plates) but really tasty! We will be back!

The restaurant was really clean and the service was excellent. The food was good and the portion was big enough. A big plus was the large number of vegan dishes and desserts.

Good choice for especially vegetarian food in Oulu. In the menu vegan options were clearly marked. I ate fuchka for the first time and it was nice.

My two friends and I tried Bangladeshi food for the first time and took the combo dish (soup and fuchkas) as recommended by the waiter. Liked the food a lot! Small restaurant and small terrace.

Fuchka offers Bangladesh food that is really really different compared to any other restaurants in Oulu. But it’s really good! The lunch deal of soup and 6 fuchka's (little tasty bites) for a bit over 10 euros is excellent.
