Although the food options are not that much in Saamen Kammi, but the taste is ok and the price is reasonable. You can expect to experience the sami atmosphere, music, and food from here.As I am looking for some traditional experiences in Lapland, and I think here is really a good choice. There is a grill place in the middle to provide the grilled salmon, and the... As a sámi I have too many times seen sámi culture being used for commercial purposes without heart and feel. Thus I always arrive with a solid dose of scepticism when visiting places labeling themselves as traditional sámi experiences. But after the first greeting by the staff and Niiles-Jouni, there was a strong feeling of genuity that allowed my shoulders... More

I´ve always loved going to Saamen Kammi for the experience as well, it is kind of a special treat. It is really expensive though and was surprised that they only spoke in Finnish in the beginning to explain all about the food and what they serve. The lady spoke so fast as well that you couldn´t understand. Starter soup does... More

This restaurant was a buffet style but it was an enjoyable way to try traditional dishes. The staff were delightful and warm.

Ok, but not fabulous. Traditional food and great host but pricey. The entertainment was all in Finnish and somewhat monotonous after the first few songs as you did not know what was going on. All the history etc was also written in Finnish. Still, worth the experience.

Based in the grounds of hotel K5 this restaurant is underground & serves traditional Lappish food. Guests meet in the reception area of the K5 hotel & Niilles the host from a long established Sami family comes over from the restaurant in traditional costume & greets everyone with a Joik (traditional song) before leading everyone out & along the path... You get to eat super delicious salmon and reindeer in various forms as much as you like (with a fixed price at 55€). And I must say the fish soup for the starter was the best fish soup I've ever had! And as a Finn I've had many of them... The atmosphere is really cosy and unique, and the host... More

Our reservation was cancelled two times (they said not enough people). When we finally arrived, the service was crap from the beginning. They didn't know anything about their recommended wine in the menu. When we asked for more water, the answer was angry that "we just just brought one". I guess they mixed tables. The worst part was when we... More
