Really enjoyed our meal here. 2 courses are reasonable, and we had a truly tasty meal. Lovely service, and good wine. The terrace is well spaced out too. A great place for dinner.

We had lunch here, sitting outside on the terrasse. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. The menu changes regularly and the pea and courgette veloute with tempura asparagus was the most perfect starter on a hot day. I had a pork ribs for...my main course and it was melt in the mouth delicious. The service was perfect - our water jug was replenished three times without our ever having to ask and for the standard of food, the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely make a return trip if I'm ever anywhere remotely near!More

The food and service was superb. We both chose from the menu du jour and each dish was exceptional. If you are in the area, make sure that you include a lunch or a dinner at the Jeu de Quilles, you won't be disappointed.

Our first meal in a restaurant after the COVID ‘confinement’ and it couldn’t have been better. We had the 25€ and the 30€ three course lunch menu and we couldn’t fault a single dish. Asparagus tips with gravadlax, carpaccio of tuna with cherries and beetroot...(interesting but successful combination), slow cooked pork cheek, guinea fowl, baby broad beans and peas, chocolate mousse with biscuit crumb, pannacotta with strawberries and a delicate jelly. Sorry to go on, but it was sublime... tables well spaced as required, hand gel, staff in masks but very friendly. Well done to them all. Highly recommended.More

This is a small restaurant with a limited menu but the food is superb. Don't bother getting there early - we went for an early dinner at 6.45 p.m. and found the staff having their dinner outside before the restaurant opened! We were told to...come back at 7.15 so we had a wander around this pretty town. The bars were busy with families all out together. The menu offers two courses for 25 euros or three courses for 32 euros with wine by the glass at 3.50 euros. An authentic French dining experience and definitely recommended.More

We stumbled on this gem and enjoyed a very nice lunch. I enjoyed the Duckling and my husband had the steak.

We have now visited this restaurant 3 times and the food is good, the menu imaginative and the service casual and efficient. Food is all cooked to a high standard and the blackboard menu offers plenty of choice at sensible prices. Good set lunch.

Excellent food and reasonably priced. The beef was very tender and the pork dish was delicious. We wondered why the hostess (owner?) was continuously sullen despite efforts to get a smile? Disappointing to not feel welcome!

Very good seasonal food, and wine. Surprised to find such sophisticated cooking in Cajarc. Food is seasonal and often organic.

This is a very ordinary looking restaurant so we were not expecting much when we booked for an evening meal. I am glad we did because every place was taken. The food was excellent and the Iberian pork with honey and ginger glaze was to...die for. The menu was presented on chalk boards so I guess it changes often. The wines looked a bit on the expensive side but then I am no expert in that department. Definitely recommended.More

The food is quite interesting and original, but the service is terrible. There are't enough wait staff to serve the number of clients they want to admit. And this last time they more or less harassed us to leave for clients waiting for a table....I have eaten there a few times and will probably not go back unless there is not choice.More

We stumbled onto the inviting front patio in a desperate search for lunch, well past traditional lunch hour, bypassing almost every other restaurant in town because they just didn't "feel" right. We were cheerily seated and served after deliberating over which of the divine-sounding lunch...specials we'd settle for. We peeked at the neighboring table's fish filet...it looked like perfection sitting atop a bed of white beans. We thought we ordered the same but weren't disappointed when duck breast arrived instead (our mistake not the server's). It too was perfectly prepared, perfectly flavored and perfectly proportioned. From the appetizer to the dessert course, none of our dishes missed a step. The chalkboard menu was full of local ingredients, highlighting both the region and the talent of the chef. Service was relaxed, as it should be...to allow you to savor every bite. Rushing such a meal, on a quiet day, in a quiet village would be blasphemous. Don't expect quick and don't expect cheap. High-quality ingredients passionately prepared at a Michelin guide reviewed restaurant SHOULD come at a price worth paying and waiting for. We will visit again and again.More

We arrived late but the restaurant had kept a nice table for us near the kitchen. Each dish was beautifully served on the plate and tasted really authentic. They have a great wine list of local bio wines.
