Our first meal in a restaurant after the COVID ‘confinement’ and it couldn’t have been better. We had the 25€ and the 30€ three course lunch menu and we couldn’t fault a single dish. Asparagus tips with gravadlax, carpaccio of tuna with cherries and beetroot...(interesting but successful combination), slow cooked pork cheek, guinea fowl, baby broad beans and peas, chocolate mousse with biscuit crumb, pannacotta with strawberries and a delicate jelly. Sorry to go on, but it was sublime... tables well spaced as required, hand gel, staff in masks but very friendly. Well done to them all. Highly recommended.More

This is a small restaurant with a limited menu but the food is superb. Don't bother getting there early - we went for an early dinner at 6.45 p.m. and found the staff having their dinner outside before the restaurant opened! We were told to...come back at 7.15 so we had a wander around this pretty town. The bars were busy with families all out together. The menu offers two courses for 25 euros or three courses for 32 euros with wine by the glass at 3.50 euros. An authentic French dining experience and definitely recommended.More

We stumbled on this gem and enjoyed a very nice lunch. I enjoyed the Duckling and my husband had the steak.

We have now visited this restaurant 3 times and the food is good, the menu imaginative and the service casual and efficient. Food is all cooked to a high standard and the blackboard menu offers plenty of choice at sensible prices. Good set lunch.

Excellent food and reasonably priced. The beef was very tender and the pork dish was delicious. We wondered why the hostess (owner?) was continuously sullen despite efforts to get a smile? Disappointing to not feel welcome!

Very good seasonal food, and wine. Surprised to find such sophisticated cooking in Cajarc. Food is seasonal and often organic.

This is a very ordinary looking restaurant so we were not expecting much when we booked for an evening meal. I am glad we did because every place was taken. The food was excellent and the Iberian pork with honey and ginger glaze was to...die for. The menu was presented on chalk boards so I guess it changes often. The wines looked a bit on the expensive side but then I am no expert in that department. Definitely recommended.More

The food looks good and tastes really good. The wines so delicious specially the pink one my favourite. Price fairly well for the food quality.

The food is quite interesting and original, but the service is terrible. There are't enough wait staff to serve the number of clients they want to admit. And this last time they more or less harassed us to leave for clients waiting for a table....I have eaten there a few times and will probably not go back unless there is not choice.More
