Vi liker Hard Rock Cafe! Visits them in every city we travel to, and in Gothenburg we have visited them every year for the last 4-5 years. Meets up with the expectations of Hard Rock Cafe. Cool memerobilia from different musicians and artists, rock n roll in the speakers and american hamburgers. We unfortunately had a boring experience both regarding service and food. Ordered chicken fajitas that were not sliced as they usually are but roughly chopped up on vegetables and onions. Usually very tasty but unfortunately we felt none of it. Also ordered fried chicken with fries that was completely tasteless and like rubber. No one asked how the food tasted or if we wanted to order anything more. We repeatedly tried to get the attention of the staff but were totally ignored. Eventually we went to the bar repeatedly to ask for something more to drink. Do not know what the staff was doing, it was far from crowded which I understand in retrospect. I had also written that we celebrate a birthday but not a question about this or anything arranged. Why is it possible to write such things when you still don't care. Revisited Hard Rock for the first time in a while. We didn't have a huge amount of time so we ordered 3 Messi burgers based on the menu description and picture, figuring that out of anything on the menu, Hard Rock should be able to do burgers well. But they were shockingly poor. One of the burgers was squished flat, had hardly any fillings . salad in it and was so poor quality we had to send it back, and 2 portions of the chips had been reheated and were rubbery and nasty. One portion had hair in it. How hard is it to do burger and chips? We waited over 30 minutes for them to be re-served by which time 2 out of 3 of us had already finished the meal. The replacement burger was also squashed flat, the bun was grim, and the burgers were dry and tasted re-heated. We had 2 non-alcoholic cocktails that were 70% ice for 100sek each. As we were there for a small family birthday celebration, we were pretty disappointed. We went upstairs for Shuffleboard which made up for the poor food. Right next door in Joe farellis the food looked great ironically. The Hard Rock we used ot go to in Manchester had the best burgers in town. Fair to say this one has the worst.

Made our booking for this special occasion around a month in advance, when we arrived we were given a limited menu with only a handful of items on it (and one dessert choice!) We questioned with the waiter who said it was because there was a concert in the city that week, we knew this but hadn’t been told about the reduced menu in the dozens of confirmation emails they’d sent !!!! Long story but it took a further 20 minutes to take an order, 40 for drinks and over an hour for food (1 hour 15 for water) and the restaurant was half empty! The waiter disappeared after taking our order and we didn’t see him for over an hour! Food was average yet expensive, music very loud but we managed by shouting to each other across the table. Not the standards we’d expect and the worst Hard Rock experience of all the ones we’ve been to ..

Nice rooms and nice staff. Good service. A big minus for their burgers. The meat is dry, generally tasteless. They have a "spicy" burger called diablo where you would expect some type of flavor or heat. It was as bland as a cheeseburger on the dong. I have visited Hard Rock many times over the years, but not since 2023. I was very disappointed. The waiter messed up both food, bill and ordering drinks. Everyone in the party got their food at the same time except 1 person where they missed the food. When he got his food, they weren't right either. The rest of us had almost finished eating already. The appetizer that was ordered was also not right and it arrived double after a while. The food used to always be very good but now it was beneath contempt. We visited the restaurant yesterday, and unfortunately our experience was far from what we had hoped for. The food did not live up to expectations – several of the dishes were cold and tasteless. There were five of us in the party, and they all felt the same way. The staff seemed stressed and ran back and forth, causing the service to be inadequate. This must be the worst restaurant-experience ever! Preebooked with a big group from the States to eat and have a good time at Hard Rock. Expectations were high but satisfaction was way under acceptable limit. We waited for hours to get the food, we asked for water and it came after the food. Only 1 person to serve more than 20 people. The size of the dishes were too small for the price. We left hungry and frustrated and had to get food at the grocery store. Some people in the group got bad stomachs after eating here. Go somewhere else to have a good food experience in Gothenburg!

Celebrated a colleague tonight .. we were 12 people who would eat well and drink well .. we sat on a long table. Very nice.. BUT then came our waiter .. what a miss .. stressed out to a thousand .. missed several who wanted to order .. the drink comes in .. then the food would be ordered .. running around like a dizzy chicken .. taking some orders here and there .. missed even here some people .. finally all the food .. no empty glasses were removed .. empty bottles were left on the tables .. time for dessert .. also here stressed he took some orders but missed of course here too .. after a while he came and asked how we wanted to pay, separately .. then he ranted that we can do it at the checkout by the bar .. thus it felt like it was time for us to go .. Our group of five friends meets once a month to eat Swedish yellow pea soup (ärtsoppa) and pancakes. We circulate our lunch meetings between a couple of different restaurants. Our visit yesterday at HRC, Gothenburg, was excellent in every way - the food was great (a big improvement from our lunch last year), service was friendly, attentive and quick and the ambiance very nice. Prices were quite reasonable, too. Thank you - we will be back!

Excellent Hard Rock, great selection of varied memorabilia. Massive venue with shuffleboard upstairs. We visited 3 times over the weekend and had excellent service every time. Drinks and food are at the steeper end of the price scale compared to other places in Gothenburg but that's purely down to the area of the city and surrounding restaurants. Food was excellent each time. Really good atmosphere. Music could do with varying, think we heard the same playlist every day we went but definitely a great venue in the Hard Rock Cafe brand and somewhere the franchise can be proud of.

Bad service!

Our vaitor was not service minded at all. He forgot our drinks, we waited 20 min after we got our food for the drinks. He did not say he was sorry. Just put the drinks on our table without saying anything. He then avoided us for half an hour. He did not ask how the food was, did not offer us any dessert. We tried to ask for the check but the vaitor was no where to be found. He was overall very infriendly and made the whole experience bad.
