Cool classic interior, we sat outside in the sunshine. Good selection of tea and coffee. Great place for meeting colleagues. Lots of gorgeous looking chocolates however it was too soon after breakfast for us to sample the truffles. Service was excellent.

Lovely tearoom style cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. The hot chocolate was delightful and the Gothenburg Truffles were without a doubt the best chocolates I have ever had. Not open on Sundays...

A wonderful, magical place. This small cafe is enchanting. Charming service, tranquillity, elegance and the most delicious warm brownie and ice-cream I have ever tasted (and I've tasted A LOT!) An experience to savour and to remember.

Have been here twice, didn't really like the atmosphere-it was too empty both times. But you need to come here to taste a hot brownie with soft icecream (55 SEK) it's probably one of the best desserts I've ever had!

Nice place for a cup of good (!!!) coffee. They have lunch, a couple of sandwiches, some cakes and bunches of utterly delicious pralines. Friendly staff, clean place.

The name Kanold is well known in Gothenburg and linked to chocolates of the highest quality. The cafe did indeed have a lot of chocolate pralines and delicacies, but not as much as I had expected, and quite frankly I found that the selection of...More

In Sweden, and not the least in Gothenburg, there is a thing called "fika" - which means having a small break including coffee, tea or something else with friends or by oneself. It's a true classic, been a habit for ages and generations. Café Kanolds...More
