We walked in without a reservation and were immediately found a table outside in what the waiter affectionately called 'the Jungle'! It was a hot evening, fairly busy and we came here on the strength of a friend's recommendation. The jungle is the outside part fringed with aromatic herbs, rosemary, bay etc... and straight away, the waiter took our drinks... More

Delicious Codfish and great Köttbullar. Prices are fair. 500 SEK for 2 persons with Softdrinks. Atmosphere is okay.

Best place to eat for great Swedish food in Gothenburg. Food is of very high quality and lots of choices in the drinks. The staff is very friendly and have no problem speaking English as far as we could see. Do not miss it !

The restaurant is not very nice! I don't know why people had given 4 or 5 star but this is just average bad quality restaurant which cost more than a good restaurant actually. I felt it targeted tourists, hotel receptionist suggested it was good, turned out really bad. Very cold atmosphere, decor is cold, very expensive, terrible food. Food wasn't... More

Well, The portion was very small, even the XXL version my mate had wasnt really XXL.. The köttbullar tasted good. The service was okay, no problems to get an English menu. The atmosphear in the restaurant was a bit cold. All in all, I was a bit disappointed.

Wow! Was recommended by the tourist centre, as Swedish but not overly. Was perfect for us. The starter gave us a taster of Swedish cuisine. But still keeping it save. My husband said that was the best steak he had in 9 years!

Brilliant dinner out with 4 other Scots who commute from the UK to work in Gothenburg. Very cozy restaurant, friendly staff and terrific food, Herring starters and Meatballs with sauce and mashed potatoes were the best ever. We will be back.

The exterior might not indicate it, the interior does not reveal it either, and it might be loud but once you passed all this you are in for a real treat. Creative and delicious meals accompanied with good Swedish beer and perfect service. We wish it would just be around the corner ...

Excellent food, great staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend the smorgasbord. Well worth the money and seemed like a great intro to Swedish food.
