Best food we had in Goteburg. Service was superb, food was great and really good value for Sweden, Elk was superb, meat balls the same.

That was a positively outstanding meal. köttbulle with longen berries, pickles, and fresh made breads!!! All I have to say is wow... Surely never had something quite like that before (and Americans do it all wrong).

I arrived in Gothenburg today, so I was eager to try something very traditional from the country and city. After browsing on TripAdvisor I came across this restaurant. From the beginning the waitresses were very welcoming and informative about the menu, recommending me a local larger. My heart was already set on having kötbullar, (Swedish meatballs) upon arrival. This was... More

We were recommended to go here and we're not disappointed. The meatballs are so good and the service and atmosphere really friendly. Definitely recommend

You go here to have traditional Swedish dishes like meat balls and it's pretty good but you can certainly find better in Göteborg. What makes this a hit is coming with friends new to Sweden to have food and (plenty) of beer in middle of the town and then go bar-hopping.

I got there after receiving a recommendation from a friend. The location is great / we did not have to spend to much time to search for it. The meatballs and the salmon is good.

We were able to make a booking at the very last minute. The food was fantastic, from the starter to the dessert. It was one of the best restaurants I went to in Gothenburg. The beef Elk was a particular highlight.

Visited here as we were looking for some traditional Swedish food. Glad we did as it was delicious. The portions are a little on the small side but they seem to fill you up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They describe all the elements of the meal that you have ordered when they bring it out to your... More

I booked a table for 6 people on Saturday night and received a written confirmation via email. When we arrived, the staff did not find our reservation and did not offer any apologies. They offered us a table with bar stools which were inappropriate for people at 70+ of our group. This was very frustrating.

Small is a great place for traditional Swedish food and drinks. I had pike fillet with potatoes and dill sauce and my partner had meatballs and gradsås - both very delicious. They have a great range of aquavit too. It's expensive but then so is everything else in Sweden. Highly recommend.

Thank Emily G
